Hmm.
I took it as Largo giving notice that he won't be a part of anything aimed at "saving" Miho.
All Largo heard was Kimi speaking Japanese in two voices and Miho was not mentioned, only the exchange student from Ireland.
I doubt he heard Kimi...

Typos aside, even if he didn't understand the words I believe he felt the emotion - in fact, he's just said as much. He sensed "7h3 p0w3r" perfectly clearly. Look, he was crying...
Yea, verily: Who is that, running on the steppes! It is Sax, clutching buzzsaw hand extensions! He howls homicidally:
"I'm seriously going to pound you into the fast lane!!!"

Oh, yeah, I wrote Ping some backstory once.

He sensed that she has become Moeriko... I would weep too, but Largo has a plan to counter this, I hope.

He will continue to be her thrall and he weeps tears of joy as he sense her massive increase in power. Next comic he will genuflect

They are gonna need Piro *pronto* to make Largo wear pants/trousers again.

Hey Fred! Thanks for the new page and boy is it worth the wait!!! =)
Nice to read you are okay. =)

On the new comic… I really don’t know how to interpret it. I personally mostly saw Largo’s grave determination in that wow intense portrait of him. But I thought it was a facial expression of his assessment of the power of the wand — his words an acknowledgement of Erika’s now even extended powers. I don’t know if he never really saw the stealth bomber. I remember him witnessing Erika taking on the waiting fans in front of The Cave and, more recently, the way she handled those otaku by doing her Moeko routine.

I am searching my memory for any earlier ‘Largo being emotionally touched by a performance’-scene, though… =)

Ah well… GREAT job on all the expressions in this comic. =)

And yeah, I cracked up on the final panel, greatly anticipating Erika’s response to THAT.
No cliffhanger like someone putting their foot in their mouth.

Hey Largo, remember how her first love left her because he couldn't handle her success? And how you condemned him for that? She's more likely to remember the first in this moment, so you better clarify damned quick so she remembers that you're not that type of fool, right?

Probably because he wasn't this emotionally developed back then ;) but [681] somewhat comes to mind with "you played with great skill" ;)

I'm sure she's not thinking that at all! That kind of thing only happens in animé... or ... manga.

Actually a bit later there was 1458, the previous occurrence of a Moeko role played by Erika, whereafter Largo felt 'creeped out'. But also thought he needs to learn 'this skill'.

So now he finally understood he can't learn 'this skill'... ? What separates artists from the wannabies and profane.

He senses the change in her. Largo knows she has been body-jacked. It is no longer Erika. He is not happy about it. Why must all good things come to an end?
Largo is not an exorcist... I think he is say what he needs to not tip his hand to the possessing spirit within that he will be seeking help freeing Erika of her domination. I think his ruse has worked. Moeriko looks genuinely disappointed that she will be denied the pleasures of the flesh with Largo. I hope his plan to free Erika of Moeko's spirit will work sooner rather than later.
Oh Teddy, never change.

Eagerly awaiting the next comic- Largo had better be able to clarify that statement in a way that doesn’t wreck Erika or create some kind of relationship-breaking misunderstanding. Those two are (surprisingly) the most well-suited couple in the series.

Try this on.

Largo is a tank

Erika is a stealth bomber

Largo was totally unaware of the capabilities of a stealth bomber until now

He just witnessed his very first Arc Light Strike and it affected him deeply, after all even as a tank he didn't know that removing the top half of a mountain was even possible
I liked this interpretation immensely!

Haha just had a thought^Wimagination barf...

Largo is a Tank
Erika is the Mage
(Piro(goeth) is the Sword
and Kimiko is the Support)

And just now Erika's performance was ... magical.

Did anyone else notice the little animated Moeko that pops up on the bed in the last panel? a 'blink and you'll miss it" moment?
