Fred has posted the comic to his Patreon. He'll post it to the main site and elsewhere probably tomorrow.

So the diagnostic I take it will be if Yakugashi goes through her pockets and looks for loose change?

Kimonos have pockets? ;) At least Yaku has water rescue skills(ears back is a nice touch, BTW) Wonder if someone is going to show up, or are we going to have a scene change?

I forget, what season is it there? I thought it was late fall/ early winter, which would make hypothermia an issue.....

She's probably in a Jedi healing trance.

Glad to see the castle as a reference for their location. My first sense was that they'd gone into Miho's past.

Not traditionally, no. But Miho has already violated the much more important "Never get involved in a land war [1] in Asia" tradition, so bets are a bit off at this point...

[1] E.g. between ninja and kitsune

At this point it's probably exhaustion and pain and maybe a lack of juice.

They didn’t get very far. Yaku needs to be wary as they are still in enemy territory. She will need all of the skills she learned in Foxgirl Scouts.

(Too bad Piro had no clue what the nurse meant when she asked "Mundane or non-mundane?" And of course they're trained to check the "mundane" box when the person responds "Uh, what?" If only Nurse Ririka had been on duty at the time. :()

Fairly far away, but not far enough. That's a pretty big wilderness area there... probably no where near Tokyo, though I'm sure such areas exist somewhere in Japan. Could be a lot of strange things lurking in those woods...

Have to say, of all the ways I thought this could go, this was not one of them. Nice rescue Yaku, can't be easy swimming in a Kimono. So, is this just a pause as the pacemaker reboots, or did the last leap fry the circuits. Edit, just noticed the castle in the background. Did they leap all the was to the U.S., kinda looks like they are near Disney in Florida.

I believe it is meant to be the one seen in the upper left of panel 1 of 1534, i.e. a structure on or near the ninja compound.

Since I don’t know what else to say: thank you for the update, Fred!!! =)

I’m glad they’re away from the ninjas for now, though…

I'd just like to point out that the last panel is empty save for Yaku's words which do not have the balloon stem indicating Yaku's position.

I'm taking this to mean that Miho is "somewhere else" but she can hear Yaku....

Yep she's (mostly) dead

We may need a miracle man. Fortunately, this is a very noble cause.

Yaku, you wanted to write a new story for Miho. Now might be a good time to start.

Well, currently her notebook, glasses and other gear are in the custody of Ninja so she doesn't have to tools to write. Also she's alone on a riverbank with Miho who is dead

He'd likely call for the brute squad.

Sweet... a cheerful, for some tearful, comic to take this bear into his drill weekend.
Domo arigato... Mr. Roboto.

Oh, and thank you Fred.
