The due processes of the law must be followed before we get to burn her, in a fully justified manner.

Before this thread is completely ran over by one-track-mind bear...
I shall point out Miho is already floating in first panel, as Yaku resurfaces. Not sure if this is good. Because she's floating face down.
I say though, might there be faery blood involved? So not a witch. Does it make a difference?
Thank you for the page, Fred.

I believe that she took the impact of the fall into the water into herself so that Yaku would be spared the potentially lethal force of it.
As for burning....we've seen her immolated in the plasma fire of the spider tanks...so burning her is just sick and sadistic...a act of cruelty on par with skinning a werewolf to make coats then allowing them to heal and grow back and repeating it next full moon.

This mght be of interest. ^_^

If Miho is dead, I don't think her pacemaker was the problem. She was face-down in a river for an undetermined period of time.
Re: [1539] Please don't
"I'm not dead!"
"Well, in a moment, you will be."
That aside, this looks like a good spot for a cliffhanger. Is Miho dead or just resting? Can Yaku get back to her mother safely? Will Junpei survive the family argument? Tune in tomorrow for another exciting episode of...

The castle is wrong for Disneyland, and since Fred is meticulous about architecture, I'm pretty sure that was not what he intended. There was a bit of discussion when it turned up before - you might want to check that if you're particularly interested.

Well,
I thought yesterday, that one thing Fred did not yet do in Megatokyo, as the genre usually has, is a near-death/flashback situation and the MC gets to decide whether they want to come back and live, or not.

Re: [1539] Please don't
So there are wilderness areas in Tokyo! There seems to be a plethora of skyscrapers on their skylines though and no western type castles... Still, more possible than I thought it was. Now, to find one with a river, a castle on the skyline, and no sky scrapers... Probably further away.
Re: [1539] Please don't
More alarmingly (or "charmingly" as T-Wb would put it ), there is no apparent reflexive gasping intake of air when Yaku rolls her around face-up.
@Teddy-Werebear: You are the brute squad.
Re: [1539] Please don't
Actually the other day I stumbled across an article about that very subject. Most of these areas are connected to the shrines the city grew up around and some older estates, some of which have been turned into parks and nature preserves.Mamma Peach wrote: ↑Mon Oct 15, 2018 12:20 pmSo there are wilderness areas in Tokyo! Re: [1539] Please don't
Are you implying that somewhere in West Virginia there's a small shrine that at first glance would appear to venerate La Santa Muerta but closer inspection would reveal the figure to be Darkly Cute?

Re: [1539] Please don't
As if the setting wasn't complicated enough
we now get to see all this ghostly stuff.

So, hey, take yer pick.
<overheard in toy cabinet, as other dolls attempt to comfort a distraught Miho doll>
Pirate Doll: Wait, did you say "I do"?
Miho Doll: Um... we sort of skipped that part...
