To set your time zone under board preferences, first you have to pick the correct UTC. Then in my case (Seattle suburb), you choose between LA, Vancouver, Whitehorse, Tijuana, Phoenix, Hermosillo, Fort_Nelson, Creston, Dawson, and Dawson Creek.
