MegaTokyo Anime Adapation Ideas
Hey there y'all, I was thinking that I was interested in helping with producing an anime adaptation of MegaTokyo. My name's Logan, I happen to run a nonprofit midwest-based group of artists, animators, voice actors, and musicians known as Owl Animation Producitons. We have members from several different parts of the world that I have gathered to help with producing original animes, but I was thinking "why don't we have anime adapations for any of the anime inspired comics?" That is where I got the idea of creating an anime adaptation of MegaTokyo. Of course we would need permission from Fred Gallagher to begin production (even though I'm a fellow Michiganian like him). We'll begin production by potentially collabing with Studio Yuraki and D'art Shtajio on key and inbetween animation (once we have permission as said before). Anyways I seriously hope Fred Gallagher is seeing this and seriously, but until next time stay gold y'all.

Hi Logan. While Fred does look at the forums sometimes, your best bet would be to email him directly (fredrin at gmail).

Strange, a Google search doesn't give any relevant results. There IS an animation company with a similar name in Kerala, India, but it's written "Owl'e" and it's specialised in animations for companies' websites and mobile games, from what I've understood. And I don't see an official spokesperson of the company misspelling its name.

hmm... lately I've thought a group like Rooster Teeth should produce a Megatokyo anime. I wasn't particularly a fan of RWBY, but between that and their other projects, they seem to do well at the medium and they also are firmly rooted in all the nerdy ways of games, anime, and internet culture, plus being American, all of which would lend itself to someone trying to produce Megatokyo which I think would need those perspectives and backgrounds.
I couldn't begin to suggest who should animate it, or write episodes, but someone like Rooster Teeth wouldn't be a bad production pick I think.
