And now for something completely different

Okay, so, this isn't actually MT based. I recall the old forums had an entire different department for non-MT creative work, but the new forums doesn't have one (and hasn't rebuilt a large enough contingent of posters to support it, yet). So I'mma just post it here.

I'm looking for some beta readers for a novel-length fanfic I've started, and which I intend to start publishing on a weekly basis over on fanfiction.net. It will be my eight fanfic, and second novel length story. However, because of the particular fandom I'm writing within, and the experiences I had with my previous novel length fic, I am desperate to have a few beta readers look chapters over in advance to catch mistakes I've missed simply because I see what I MEANT to write, not what I actually wrote, and because even a details guy like me can miss little details in the canon I am drawing from.

Oh, you might wanna know what the fandom in question is.

Well... It's a little thing. Not well known. I'm sure you've never heard of it.

It's called

RWBY!

So here's the deal, if you're willing to help. I need people who honestly believe that they can commit to not just reading a chapter a week, but giving solid, heavy, but helpful critiques. Simply saying "yeah, that's good" won't do. I need to know what doesn't work, what does work, your thoughts about where things have come from and are going, etc. etc. etc.

Also, you pretty much have to have watched through to the final episode of season 3 at a minimum (and it would be good if you've seen season 4 as well. Cause damn.) If you haven't then the story will be made of spoiler and explodium. Be prepared for angst, soap opera, fight scenes that end in cliff hangers, and an author who should be caged for the protection of society.

For those who can't commit, but who are curious about my (ridiculous) writings, you can find me on fanfiction.net under the pen name "Bookah". I've got six short stories from four fandoms up there, you might actually find something you like. And I'm always a sucker for people who will stroke my ego by reading.

For those who can, please contact me soonest. I've already committed to having chapter one posted on October 6th, and I'd really like to get it (and the next two chapters) combed over in advance so I can fix any mistakes I haven't caught.

Thanks everyone!

You mean Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang? Never heard of 'em. Sounds like a Grimm tale, though.

Not sure how long I can commit to, as my interests tend to flit around after a while, but I'd be interested.

Sent some feedback by email the day you sent the files, did you get it?

I did! I thought I had responded to let you know, but I see now that I did not. I did make revisions based on your comments, so thanks for the help!
