Finished Sirius. It was decent overall, but the ending was expected, fell flat, and was left open(perhaps for a second season?).

Overlord 3 promises a 4th season, but unless they actually present a challenge to Ains, what's the point of even watching? They should've did a better job of CGI, too.

Haven't started anything from the new season yet......

Currently watching Food Wars, which has been out for a while but we just stumbled upon it and are most of the way through season 2. Loving it.

I'll be continuing Golden Kamui with great glee. I rather enjoyed the first season (Asirpa is crack.) I discovered they're doing some sort of continuation of Thunderbolt Fantasy, which is an odd but fascinating show, so I'll be picking that up to. I think I'm going to give Zombie Land Saga a try, but in all honesty I don't have high hopes for it. And, of course, I am a RABID fan of RWBY. Hopefully that should keep me satisfied, as nothing else is looking particularly promising.
Maaaaaaan. Now I need to start winning posts again.

Boarding School Juliet is a contrived piece of trash. Dropped after one ep.

Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara - Oh, my, another beautifully crafted gem by P.A. Works. Hope it doesn't disappoint(like Glasslip, Charlotte, and HaruChika).

Haven't figured out what Zombieland Saga is, but it's something. Giving it 3.

Run With the Wind is pretty generic, so far. Also giving it 3.

Akanesasu Shoujo was a yawnfest with a loopy plot. Dropped.

Slime does have a lot of potential, but why do Isekai anime have like a hundred characters in them?

Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara - Yeah well, it's pretty but kinda lacking any hook at the moment. Just gonna roll with it with expectations in check.

JoJo Golden Wind - Well it's more JoJo and I shall gladly partake.

Thunderbolt Fantasy S2 - This is all I need to call this season good.

Only got that far, cringing the whole time, only because Ai Kayano was VAing the lead. She couldn't save it.

Good to see Golden Kamuy S2 is as weird as ever....

Karakuri Circus is off to a good start, but I hope they have enough source material to fill 36 eps properly........

The first half of Horimiya was great, the past 20 chapters or so has bogged down quite a bit. I wish they'd concentrated on the MCs' relationship more, instead of investing so much time on the side characters.

Okay, time for an update on my thoughts (now that I'm four episodes in to my choices so far):

Golden Kamuy, Season 2: As good as the previous season, I must say. Of course, having read way past this point in the manga (which it is being faithful to) I'm spoilered, but I have to say this is a fantastic show, and am glad to see it continuing. (Spoiler, there are elements that may squick out some people.)

Thunderbolt Fantasy: Season 2 is just as fun as Season 1 was, even if they've only retained two of the original characters. Still, you KNEW, after watching the first season, that scroll wasn't a throw-away, and it's good to see it being addressed. They fact it's puppets takes a little getting used to for a culture that doesn't have that tradition anymore, but this show is almost orgasmicly beautiful. The costuming is, quite simply, GORGEOUS.

Zombie Land Saga: I almost dropped this five minutes into the first episode. The blurb for it is EXTREMELY misleading. I expected a zombie survival horror flick, and what I got was a really bad spoof of an idol band comedy. I'm still watching it, but I'm not sure why. It's a bit of a trainwreck, really.

Also, just watched the first episode of RWBY season 6. If you aren't a fan of RWBY, You Should Be.

After a month, I can say that the fall ain't much better than the summer was, IMO.

Golden Kamuy S2 is still great, though. Slime is turning out to be a pretty fun show, too, though it feels like it's dragging a bit.

Zombieland Saga has been the biggest surprise, though. I like Miyano in this better than his Okabe in SG:0. Oh, and Tae best girl.

OTOH, Tokyo Ghoul: Re S2 is just crap. Not sure why I'm even watching this.

Karakuri Circus is very shounen, and has good action, but otherwise, is kinda meh. I've heard that the source manga is over 400 chapters, so a lot is being lost in the adaptation.

Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara was being too low-key, until Kohaku showed up. I hope the story doesn't get too shoujo. Still looks wonderful, though!

SpoilerShow
(preface: I am only reading these online)
Bizarre as it is, Pashiri na Boku to Koi suru Banchou-san... made me laugh recently!

Also The Story of Treating A Female Knight Who Never Was Treated As A Woman, As a Woman (gee who translates these titles?!)

Started reading Golden Kamui from the beginning - but didn't finish (not to say I did not like it, I did... it just sorta slipped through.)

So I am a junkie for more comedic approaches (We might be an inexperienced couple, but...) so what?

Cidjen, you have a knack of getting me interested in so-so romcoms; first Tonikaku Cawaii, now Pashiri Banchou. ;) It helps that they're both quick reads.

Added Penguindrum to the list; a little weird, but interesting!

Ok if I you want something heavier, how about Route End...? Warning: seriously not for kids and not in the sense Dead Tube is not either...

Also I encountered once, a series about a manga artist living in apartment, with his highschool teacher living next door... Can't remember the title... Been looking for it can't seem to find it anywhere (I only know if was Japanese... And adult themed. If you know what I mean.)

I don't really care the genre, as long as it's written well, with good characters. Cidgen, if you like a fun comedy, try We Never Learn. It's a harem, but they try to treat the characters with a level of dignity(except Kirisu). Some of it(okay, some times a lot) is cheap fanservice, and there are dead/slow chapters, but the last few have picked things up a lot.

Do you mean We Can't Study (Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai)? Haha, thanks :)

(having reached what's available online as chapters, looks pretty refreshing from the usual 'first girl wins' too ;) )
