Chaos and Order are not applicable to Moeko and the very nature of her powers constitute a tangible threat. She isn't like Raven in Snowcrash who happens to own a nuclear warhead that no one can figure out how to neutralize, Moeko can warp reality to say, make everyone in the TPCD be her friend and all be deeply personally indebted to her.

She has the capacity to end reality and substitute her own should she come out of her coma.
Hence the "Heavy Metal" reference I used.

I've been going through old strips, and cam across https://megatokyo.com/strip/278

Megatokyo has always had multiple parallel realities running side by side, depending on what an individual person can or wants to experience. We're just seeing a rather extreme example of that here. Largo doesn't care a whit about MG series or games, and so he doesn't see anything. Piro might be in a lot of trouble if he was in Largo's place.

Dunno, Piro's kind of blind about some things. Didn't see any of the paths until Miho dragged him into one (or gave explicit directions a'la "Shiori Walkthrough"). Or the time he stood around reading manga, and un-self-awarely (ITAWIIN*) did exactly what the character in that story did.

"Is that a word? It is now."

Piro can shadow step through the spaces in between without even realizing that he's doing it. He first did that when he went to Miho's room in the ASF.

Don't discount Piro

Again, that's Miho giving him explicit directions. Not sure how magical that one is, given "Nobody ever sees it, because nobody looks." If anything, it looks like an emergency exit that would only open out. If he could step between on his own, he'd have avoided the cops.

Apart from my ongoing separate worlds theory (which I think this strip strongly supports), I think you guys have it backwards.

Largo is not filtering out "reality", not is Moeko blinding him. She is dominating Erika, probably with the aid of the connection established by Girl Phase. Most of what we see here is Erika-vision, with the exception of panels 5 and 6 which are Largo / consensus.

All of the conversation and Moeko sitting up are a direct contradiction of the consensus view of Moeko as a girl in a coma. This is happening in Erika's head at Moeko's instigation. Erika needs to realize that and get a grip, fast!
This is where you're missing the over view and of course it's not been laid out in the strip yet aside from the obvious fact that Moeko hasn't got a stitch of clothes on and she's holding her wand.

Moeko's pocket universes allow her to influence the main reality line. Put her in a hospital gown as you would with any long term care patient and it vanishes leaving Moeko totally nekkid under the sheets. Try to lock up or destroy the wand and it's back in her hand before you know it.

Moeko would LOVE to be able to get out into the main stream of reality where she'd freely use her power to change things but in the main stream she's still in a coma.

Currently Erika is like Moeko's hospital gown or her wand, she's in both for the time being. If Moeko really wanted to she could remove Erika from the main timeline for an indefinite period but she's not that malicious yet
...yet?
