What's the matter Kobayashi? Getting caught on the zipper? Btw, when a girl is frantically trying to apologize to you for kissing you without your permission, telling them you are having trouble putting pants on may not be the best way to interrupt them.

No, Kobyashi has it under control. When dealing with a frantic, panicky Yuki, derail her thought processes. Prediction: she'll rush over and start helping with the pants, then realize what she's doing and overheat and fail like Ping in a sauna. The real question is: Will he die under the subsequent blows from a broom, manage to derail her yet again, or will another explosion interrupt them? Or will Masimachi find his daughter and her boyfriend with his pants down? That would be fatal.

Or maybe Ririka walks in on them. At least Masamichi knows about the two of them. I don't think Ririka knows yet.

Awwwwwww… Cute!

I hope Yuki will just pluck up courage to help him put on his pants. After all, she’s fought zombies, hasn’t she?
Kobayashi in his underwear and bandages can’t outcreep that — even to her.

And actually, it would be the right thing for her to do — and help her get over her embarrassment in the process.

Come on, Yuki, be a big girl. Just go help him.

There doesn’t have to be anything more than that to it, either, because first of all he’s equally embarrassed and secondly: he would rather just talk with her: he’s far too afraid of doing anything that would scare her away from him. A practical, down to earth situation like this could be just what those two need to get a bit more relative reality in their situation. Ah well, what with magical girls and zombies and the whole MT circus… =D

Just keep Masamichi out of the room. >(

=)

Thanks Fred, I liked this one even better than the former post! =)

Well, a rather predictably embarrassing moment. I wonder if magical girl magic will help solve that pants problem.

He's all messed up with the pain and meds and bandages, muscles hurt and don't work, probably can't bend the right way, isn't in any shape to make the correct motions.

Of course he can't get his pants on.

Certainly in his damaged state there needs to be assistance. Suitably hilariously awkward assistance. Attempts for somebody nervous to try and slide pants on somebody else also nervous as the place crashes down on them, or whoever else might show up or return since the 20+ minutes they've been away.

The wisest and most proper course of action would be for Yuki to go find an orderly or nurse or doctor that is male so they can help Yutaka put on his trousers.

And now if Yuki applies her typical ignorance of physics and anatomy and tries to put Koby's pants on at Yuki-speed ... let us have a moment of silence for the generations that may never be.

Fred, you must really like Kobayashi. You put the poor boy through *so* much.

Yuki is such an innocent maiden...... :) However, she may run into a roadblock when it comes to his zipper(pun not intended.,..)

Meanwhile, why have his family failed to show up for 20 minutes while the hospital is being demolished?

Well, I'm sure Ririka is off doing nurse things, as she should be. And you can't expect Seiya to miss his animu for something as trivial as a hospital being demolished.

Well, it is the next morning and Ririka probably had a long night so she could be at home sleeping.

With Yutaka in his current thoroughly-battered condition, the best that could be hoped for in that direction would be "bow-chika...ow.. OW!"

You can pants if you want to
If you don't nobody will
But your friends don't pants
And if they don't pants
Then they're no friends of mine

If Yutaka is throughly battered, might the next stop be a deep fat friar?

Because this is Megatokyo. For them, it's perfectly normal and will be back to normal the next day.

As someone who's suddenly encountered issues with bending and moving, this is pretty much it.

The trick is to lie on your back on the bed, and then slip the pants on each leg. Once you do that, you can pull them up without bending anything more than your legs.

It's awkward, but possible to do.

Assuming that the problem is with bending your legs. When it's your lower back, THEN you have an issue.

Yes, that's my point. I was assuming he couldn't bend his back. That's why you have to lie down on the bed and instead bend your legs to get your pants on.

I... have had previous experience with being so bruised that I couldn't bend my torso.

If Yutaka can't bend back or legs well, stomach and chest hurting bad, tubes and oh my. Although he was able to stand up. Or somebody helped him stand up and then perhaps left because big fight emergency something. Or he's doing a bit of acting, which hasn't been his style though. Nor does his demeanor appear so at this point. He needs burley shove the pants on all serious like sorts of help right now. Not paddycake playtime gigglehelp.

Yuki should go get an orderly etc instead of acting coy and what have you. Who might show up. Unless it's focused take them off level up time for reals 1482 style. But Yutaka is hurt and such, and there's destruction going on and places to go and people to help and trick and the like.
Getting a male to help Yutaka dress is probably the prudent wise sensible thing to do. ( Which might only suggest it's unlikely to turn out that way. Still you never know.)

@Ningen just looked it up now, never heard of it before

You can get out of bed without bending much of anything. You just sort of scoot over to the edge, move your legs off, and then sort of tip yourself upright. As long as one of your arms is working well enough to push yourself up you can do it.
