I suppose that's specific enough from Yaku. Though whether that'll be enough to get Junpei's attention, I guess we'll see.

Largo is a legend in his own mind....

This brings up a serious plot point though. Who do you suppose that Largo would side with in this confrontation? The Ninja?

Who do you think that Junpei is likely to side with in this confrontation???

Largo is not only ridiculously weak which we long ago witnessed when he aggroed Ping on to Mr Turtle, he's lost the allegiance of his ninja!

I'm sure that all this will shake out later on but it's well worth pointing out that factions have split and realligned

Ok, so the GoodShip Mugi-Junpei is going to start it's shake down cruise with Junpei's grandma having kidnapped, tied-up, taken away and held for ransom Mugi's daughter, and Mugi's best friend having beaten up Junpei's whole family and maybe killed his grandmother. Seems like a problem right?

But as we all know, in fiction at least, main character romances do not need assistance to succeed, they need obstacles to overcome. Piro's a potbellied twenty-something American goof-ball with a beautiful, famous and SUPER nice girlfriend who just got him his dream job and is happily banging him like a screen door right now, while Miho is a cursed snarky super-villain who crushed his heart, is apparently compelled to follow story lines where the rarely given (according to her) right answers can force her to get naked and have sex with other men, is currently having a heart attack, is supposed to be in hiding and has been dead for a hundred years. And yet she's still even odds to be the next Mrs Piro. Not in spite of the obstacles, because of them.

Mugi and Junpei will be fine.

More rampant speculation: Miho's exhaustion is still coming from her connection to Kimiko. Kimiko may want to do the good endings when she gets back to the studio.

Yakugashi is in Junior High (or was, Fred may have decided to make her older) but a different one than Yuki et.al. going by her uniform.

There's not really any question there. Erika would side with the poor terrified girl. As Princess Awesome goes, so does Largo follow. QED

No possibility that they'd be wandering around near the ninja compound anyway, and besides remember how much everyone just LOVED it when Fred rickrolled the readers with Largo playing THAT song at the CoE?

As long as we're discussing hypotheticals I seem to recall that Largo has already demonstrated his ability to put aside animosity and distrust of Miho when the chips are down in order to aid her with the words "There will be Honor!". And if I recall correctly that's not the only time he's gone to her aid. Nor did he need Erika's prompting to help Ping out when he had the chance to do so for all that he's not that thrilled with her. So maybe Largo deserves a bit more credit then he's getting here.


I will grant that now that Piro has finally dropped his Reality Blindness/Reality Avoidance issues and has embraced life on the Weird Side the old 2 track "Piroverse/Largoverse" approach to Megatokyo is completely obsolete and that this unfortunately makes Largo a surplus character at the moment but he's still an interesting Spark and I'm willing to bet he still has some good action potential that Fred will be able to call upon when the next twist of the plot takes Megatokyo in that direction.

As for the actual situation, Yaku can call spirits from the vasty deep as can you or I or any other man but that does not mean they will hear her when she calls. The true significance of her calling upon Junpei like that may lie in giving Ninja Girl the information Ninja Girl wants since there does seem to be a "Protect the Family" directive behind what Ninja Girl has been doing. If Yaku's Mom isn't a trojan horse for Ninja Girl's old arch-nemesis then her grandson can go ahead and play with his scruffy new pets in peace for all that she cares. ^_^

"I want it to be *right*!" is a big thing for Piro. His respect might actually still be his compass — in his current situation as well.

Only I am on the fence whether Miho really WAS the villain.
As in, she did crush Piro's heart and confidence... But it was for his own protection (the way he was 'back then' he'd have no chance fighting the horde and would get assimilated in no time ... becoming yet another brianless zombie in her wake). She's been twisted by that herself. I'd go as far as, what you see here with Miho having her heart restarted, is that the remains of her love to Piro are being pushed out by Kimiko filling in. Now Miho can be her own woman again... and what's better to start a story like that, than rescuing a friend and her kid, from an ancient curse.

(sorry recently read through Say I Love You and L.DK... and DomeXGirl...)

Of course, adding to that, the person / persons playing Miho and Kimiko in this game, are either back to back or side by side in the same room, and the person playing Miho is sometimes peeking over at Kimiko's. There must be pretty nice cinematic going on... oi, player, don't lose yer footing, you don't wanna Miho die now dontcha?

Uh oh, Yaku just called called out for the Ninja in love with her mom. That could bring Junpei, but I get the feeling a magical girl just might make her appearance, since love's like rocket fuel for them. Magical girls are probably the only one who can go toe-to-toe with analogues like Miho. The Ninjas would be in a world of hurt.

I would think it would have more to do with her heart. She is not fully healed, yet she has destroyed a hospital and its guardians, wiped out one group of Ninjas outside the Foxhole, defeated the Ninja matriarch and her minions in their inner sanctum, and still yet wiped out another group of Ninjas in the forest. That is a lot of strenuous activity. You have to be at the peak of health to be a juggernaut of a terminator.

I really think that Ninja Grams is definitely scared. She has realized that she has bitten off more than she can chew. It turns out that Miho is more than a match for her and her Ninjas.

Hopefully Junpei's super Ninja hearing will pickup Yaku's call for help and after making a few Ninja super leaps arrives and comes face to face with Grandma and the rest of the clan. This can very quickly become an awkward situation.

Miho just needs to catch her breath, not a heart attack... She may need to get that pacemaker upgraded then.
Yaku called out to "the ninja who's in love with my mom"... Well Junpei is following the "way of love" now. (Is a magical boy?) I expect that he will hear that call.
