Ninja Grrl dresses and undresses both Miho and Yaku with no consent even implied, she deliberated "bumped" Miho like a predator testing a potential prey animal just to see how quick she was.

She put a freaking pineapple on Yaku's head!

And you don't think that she might be capable of saying something snarky to Miho when it appears that Miho might be having a heart attack???

Ninja Grrl is both evil and an agent for "Stability", "the Machine" , "the Powers That Be" etc. and she's one of my favorite characters . We're finding out that the Ninja aren't the comic interlude that we thought we had with Junpei all these years either.

I really love the character and I strongly doubt that some deus ex machina will thwart her

So... Maybe Miho will have to defy her condition and live up to the new hero role?

Of course this supposed clan leader (who certainly does have many ninja apparently at her beck and call) has taken many liberties. Done pretty much whatever she wanted. Yet still appears (sometimes) to be concerned with or about Junpei being present. There's something odd, perhaps because she seems to know so much yet explains so little, except as it applies to what seems to be the story going on. Sounds quite a bit like much of what Miho has done. Just in less wacky ways usually. Which maybe that's because obaasan is not that but is another Analogue. Another the real thing. Another source of stories. In a certain role.

She seems capable of just about anything. Although we only have seen what's she's done, not what she hasn't. And certainly don't really understand why she has done what she's done in the way she's done it.

Yet whatever she is or isn't, she's here blending slightly down, with the hands on the knees in some odd conciliatory tone perhaps, which might be more appropriate for a younger child, and less for talking to a centuries old adult of often immense power, at some given arbitrary point in time or story. And Yaku is looking up, and towards eyes looking back at her, it seems.

So agreed obaasan could be possibly talking to Miho, but the visible signs suggest otherwise. Maybe that's incorrect, but we're just pointing out what it seems to look like, not proclaiming it a fact.

I suspect that her knees clenched posture has more to do with very nearly being reduced to "chunky salsa" by Miho's uppercut than it does to any sense of propriety. Chemiclord has observed that a healthy and fully recovered Miho would have reduced obaasan to a thin smear simply because her reflexes wouldn't have permitted her to partially evaded and mitigate a large part of the damage that Miho delivered. I fully agree with this observation

It that were the case Spiderman would have needed to be picked up with a stick and a spoon from the sort of foes he's had to fight a long, long time ago. I suspect Ninja Girl is posing like that because she's the sort of chick who's youthful no matter how old her body gets and in a universe like Megatokyo her body needn't be that old to begin with. Immortal-type characters show up in both Rumiko Takahashi's "Mermaid Trilogy" and in the "Blade of the Immortal" manga and would *you* be the one to try telling an Immortal that she isn't supposed to marry into a ninja clan and beget descendants if she decides that this is what she wants to do with her life? :ninja:

In the rescue comic where the attack happened looks like Miho's right knee hit her in the upper right leg and something like Miho's right arm hit the small of her back. Knocked her down or out of the room etc, enough time to take Yaku and go, and seemingly little else in the sense of time. No battle, hit and run.

So far give or take Miho hasn't really one way or another seemed to outclass her, or vice versa. Although who knows what sort of levels they each have, perhaps equivalent, at least in this story arc, this scenario, this whatever it is. Damage is not often much expected in a battle between near equals. Analogue versus Analogue, two immortals, goddesses, multi-century of age mysticals. What happens when something like one Themysciran royal knocks another out of the way during a rescue, it is a mystery.

Maybe it's not the case they're anywhere near equal, but even then we don't know if Miho was trying to hit her to do damage, or if Miho was trying, succeeded. The direct context is not there. Yet there looks to be much in the indirect.

This comic is fairly soon after Miho did her rescue, not much lag time. If there was large damage, it's nothing that seems to slowed her down much, gathering more nijna and getting here.

Either way, she's still got some kind of 'talking to a kid who is sitting' pose as well. And the heads and eyes.

Obvious signs might be the true situation in this case. Not that anyone would be surprised if it turns out otherwise, but from a variety of signs, there doesn't seem to be any reason to believe she's taken much if any damage.
