Looks like Junpei has changed his patronus.

Junpei's guard is down and he looks a lot younger and more relaxed

It's nice. In some ways, Yaku asking Junpei to wait in Mugi's room was a stamp of approval. I think Mugi will realize that once she gets over the embarrassment and accepts that Junpei is attracted to her.

I like the fox origami.

Keep in mind Junpei is probably a lot better than most at giving a false impression.

Oh, I don't agree with that. Junpei has always been very earnest and straightforward. He is a Highly Visible Ninja, not one of those sneaky deceptive types.

Though I suppose either of them would have to fight their families / risk becoming outcasts of their clans to achieve this ...

to avoid clashing with you-know-who, and to keep up with all the kitsune lore, it probably would be a girl first... and be named Nanji ? and have a real affinity to pet foxes.

you don't like where Ping is going, she's gonna accidentally plug her data port into closed off Internet cctv network and see... everything. But it's OK, maybe she gets more protective of the 'thing that is supposed to be hers'.

I don't particularly like where Miho wants to go... even if she wants to make it up for the two lost years... I so wish that she'd have a chat with Seraphim first (in big mode, in lingerie no less) before the love birds emerge, and let it go. Or get a conscience of her own to talk some sense into her. Enji might be a good candidate for one?

but heh, there can't be always comedy in the script can it ? we gotta have some runaway feelzzz, rumbling hearts, cliffhangers, misunderstandings and much destruction of urban area. And a solitary Chekhov sniper rifle that we don't suspect being there yet. (Can't say what, but I have my suspicions... )

Agree about Ping..you can't be protective of what you don't understand, not really.

I don't think we have any cases of anyone who doesn't know about the conscience agents seeing them, other than their clients. Can Miho see Seraphim? And how is she going to respond to a stranger in lingerie sitting on the bed while those two are in the shower? I would love to hear that conversation.

As for Miho getting her own agent....assuming that an agent has to be briefed about their client, and should already have a few years experience under their belt before getting their own client, by the time you got done with the briefing on Miho's 200+ year background it would be just about time for you to retire...ok, not really, but you get the point. A conscience agent probably can't do anything for someone who's been around that long. Any changes that are going to be made, have to be at the hands of themselves, or urged by the people they trust.

1) You are almost certainly right.

I like the fox origami.

It's a very sweetly touching scene, pretty old-fashioned. Which makes sense, for all his quirks Junpei very much honors tradition. I wonder, though, if these 'complications' are what he was talking about when he was saying (waaay back in 674) that 'Code of Honor' was much safer than 'Code of Love.' I assumed back then that it was a Magical Girl Code, but in reality he very carefully didn't say that...so it's a code that anyone can fall into.

I hope they enjoy the ride.

So... is there some meta significance to the title?

Does this scene have unseen importance to the plot lines that we have been watching?

Or is it commentary on how even though this doesn't have anything to do with "the plot" it's still important?
