Hey! It's DS! My insurance doesn't cover that or anything like it but you can get multi-bot policies that will... (Mine is only 3rd party, fire and theft, all of which could concievably apply here, but I'd want fully-comp, anyone can drive, and business use)DrunkenSailor wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 8:09 pmJesse usually arrives with James, and in disguises which are somehow damned near perfect for the folks in universe with them. You may have difficulty telling if you've received the Jesse-bot or the James until you've unwrapped it.
Good luck.
Does your insurance cover that?

Bring a whole new dark meaning to what C3PO said, "We seem to be made to suffer!"Small Pink Mouse wrote: ↑Thu Jul 07, 2022 4:27 amSo in other words, it would be about at the same level as dating a female version of Marvin the Paranoid Android from Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy? :

Wait...
So, Ping is a prototype, right? The whole reason Ed was after her in the first few arcs was due to the fact that she was renegade tech in the wild, right?
Does that mean Poke and Peek are protos too? I mean, at least for the time being, they seem to be equal, maybe even a little inferior to Ping, in terms of capability. For instance, though it took her time, Ping is capable of living as her own person. She’s long since lost the need to mimic other’s ideas of a dreamgirl and she hasn’t ripped a pole power out of the ground in weeks (years, IRL).
Seems these two are still very much slaves of their programming.
Also, I’m not sure if Gero is actually making these androids. Yes, he stated he did in the comic but, that could be a case of unreliable narrator, a.k.a he lied. After all, its been long established that Ping and the EDS are Sony products. The S.E.A even sent one of their boys (all the way from the US, no less) in to Secure or Destroy her.
My thoughts are that the old man may have worked on the project, boosted some samples, gave Tsubasa one as a red herring to throw-off S.E.A’s scent and laid low with other two.
What does that mean for Peek and Poke? Well, unfortunately for them, it would mean we might be seeing more of Ed soon.

Dr Gero could easily be a designer working for/with Sony.

The Silence of the Fans has finally ended. A mere 5 weeks or so.

Re: [1603] easy mode and bad end
True but, considering how protective Sony seems to be over their properties, it's kinda hard to imagine Gero being able to walk around freely with company tech, the way he is shown doing.

Re: [1603] easy mode and bad end
If you recall, Tsubasa got away with Ping. I got the impression the EDS were developed by a small independent team, which was then acquired by Sony.
