Dogs and foxes do this very canine head tilt pose instinctively when confused. Its always cute. No less for Mugi and her daughter. I like when they do fox like things.

What advantage it gives them other than communication of their confusion I don't know. But Miho understands immediately that they aren't buying it.

Note Miho looks away when talking in this comic. A very human head pose when lying.
