Re: [1606] names
Yay, comic!
(Sorry, Paarfi.)
Now I have to go back and re-read the kidnapping of Yakugashi and Miho, and some older comics to figure out how Mugi's grandmother figures into this ....

Ninja grandma mentioned that there was a contract out on Mugi's grandma. Here.Fujii Yakumo wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 9:17 pmYay, comic!

Ah. Back to MT ( …for "moderately" ? ) normal. =)
Great dialogue too — only one minor typing slip-up in "Junepi"?
Or did she 'say' that on purpose?
Thanks, Fred. Great to see you’re steadily moving forward. =)
Happy — and peaceful — New Year 2023 everyone!!!

Re: [1606] names
I think it's interesting that Yaku mentions how NinjaGram looks kinda young to be Junpei's grandma. I wonder if that's her ninja power of disguise. Since Fred called it out in the dialogue, it might be important enough that we find out eventually.

For those who don't hang out on the megatokyo discord. It looks like Sarah's lymphoma is back. Initial assessment is that it appears treatable, but there are more tests and likely months of chemo and such ahead. Fred and Sarah are naturally worried but seem to be holding up. Fortunately, they have decent health insurance through Fred's bus driving job this time, so that helps some.

Speaking of names... There's a typo on the sixth panel. "Junepi"

Yeah, Fred's health insurance is huge. Wishing Sarah all the best!
Re: [1606] names
Update: they got the results from the first local biopsy on Sarah's eye and it doesn't show any signs of lymphoma. That's great news as, even if the lump on her throat is lymphoma, it may not have gone systemic. Biopsy on her throat is next. Fingers crossed.paarfi wrote: ↑Fri Jan 06, 2023 8:16 amFor those who don't hang out on the megatokyo discord. It looks like Sarah's lymphoma is back. Oh no! what sad news. Prayers that Sarah's lymphoma treatment is successful. Hopefully there is not metastasis.Natsumi wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 1:03 pmOh, no. Cancer is a terrible thing, and the chemo can be rather harsh, especially if they do it aggressively.
On that note, my son-in-law's father starts chemo tomorrow. First round, so praying it goes well, and is successful.
