Re: [1544]-"Too Much Information"

I think maybe the last 4 years of filler has melted your brain. This comic used to be a lot darker and it seems to be finally going back in that direction. Aaaaaand that here is a complete miss which you would have known if you read the forum :) Geeze I totally missed that one. Unless my math is of...

caught on to that
Sorry, I meant "caught on to the fact that Ping's a robot". (When I've done too many walls of text in one day I tend to overreact in the opposite direction.)

Re: [1544]-"Too Much Information"

agree to disagree I guess, but Occam would seem to suggest that the least hypothesis is that someone being trapped n a cycle they have no control over would understandably express a little occasional frustration at that. Someone experiencing some kind of unnamed intense frustration (at what? if it'...

Re: [1544]-"Too Much Information"

Well, why is it that Miho being trapped in her story seems to be contingent on her self-loathing and self-pitying? Sorry but I don't see the causal arrows pointing in that direction. The frustrations I've seen Miho display (I know Invisigoth doesn't want to go as far as "self-loathing", but whateve...

Re: [1545] Love

It wouldn't surprise if they thought she was human [...] I agree, I don't see signs (yet) that any of them have caught on to that. I'm taking grandma's last statement to be a quiet encouragement to this "poor young girl" who's stumbled on their doorstep to think about her own self-worth before succ...

I strongly suspect it to be the case.
Uh, yeah, I got that part, thanks. I'm asking what things, subtle or otherwise, that "suspicion" is based on.

If it's just another "Miho is evil cuz I say so" deal, we've already got a Teddy-Werebear, and sorry but he's more fun to read.

Re: [1544]-"Too Much Information"

Miho only cares about him at all because she wants him to save her from her own self-created hell hole. What's that based on? All we've seen in-comic is that as an Irish girl a long time ago, she became very "ill", and that now, when she dies, she wakes up again. There's no evidence at all so far t...

Re: [1543] value

Unless both brothers married the prospective (related?) women, then the fact that Megumi and Mugi have the same surname would indicate that they received that surname from their mothers, which would mean that Sawatari *is* the kitsune clan name. As I said, I was following the logic conditional on t...

Re: [1543] value

So far all signs point to her being a mundane cousin [...] Megumi's [...] kitsune characteristics there's no indication that Megumi is hiding tails nor that she ever had any tails to be noticed by her family So, unless she was able to conceal this by conscious effort from the womb then she's not a ...

If you want WoG on this [...] Wow, thanks so much for this! Always nice to hear things from the True Source so to speak. I tried to sorta get all that across in that omake, its in there mostly. Re: [1543] value

Ninja grandmother explicitly refers to her as "old eight-tail". This is because she is an eight tail [...] If ggma was born with seven tails, and the "one of [her] tails is a different color" Yaku mentions in 1490 is an eighth "stolen" tail, so that she " is an eight tail" now... then Youko's state...

Re: [1543] value

Yeah, I asked DarkMorford to add a time limit for post editability, and he set it for 2hrs. I remember that (I was in that thread that turned out to have been started by a spammer). I was basically apologizing for being too dumb to think of my 2nd point before the limit, not complaining about the l...

Re: [1543] value

Hey, I missed that detail! Well I'm kidding to some extent. Obviously that could be any cat poster. Whenever I see one now though all I can hear is Morgan Freeman delivering that line, so that's my head canon. I would (now that I think of it) also accept the one of which Marge Simpson says "Hmm, de...

Re: [1543] value

Sorry for the double post. Editability on my above one just went away and it took me a bit to pin down what was bugging me about the 8 or 9 tails thing. She's got everybody fooled. She's been magically hiding that 9th tail so people like Ninjagram will underestimate her. She planted the story about ...

Re: [1543] value

Ping's opinions need to be judged against the fact that what ever WE consider her to be, SHE considers herself to be an advanced machine for playing games that will be for sale. Re: [1542] a promise

Seems kind of irrelevant. The number of times I failed to notice something, or decided it was "probably" not too important, that later turned out to be not just plot-relevant but plot-critical, got large enough that I consciously decided to stop dismissing even small details as "kind of irrelevant"...

Re: One WIP Twitch thread to rule them all [SPOILERS]

Tries to look innocent... and fails :/ I tend to catch things in text way better than in the drawings; I'd have to admit that an embarrassingly large fraction of things of that nature that are brought up in SD ("notice the frobnitz in panel 3, that's clearly a left-handed version of the one Largo u...

Re: One WIP Twitch thread to rule them all [SPOILERS]

SFS Alert: Fred wanted to tease us by drawing fox ears on Megumi instead of her bow... and wondered whether we'd notice... sure we would.... OR WOULD WE...? Considering that maldrul (just to name one) catches every emotive twitch in Megumi's bow that is the least bit fox-ear-like, I'd say it would ...

Ok... you left out the shinji and rei refrence..or did you? What is this new abomination called Muho?!? Geeze, Muho has not even shown up in the comic yet and Teddy-Werebear's already assumed they're an abomination. Re: [1542] a promise

I get the very strong impression that this is the first time in a long long time that Miho has been able to just hug someone without strings or baggage attached. Three quarks for Miss Yaku as the saying goes. I am guessing from the absence of any "Where are we? How did we get here?" shrieks from Yak...
