The Fox Hole doesn't seem very far from the hospital, where some other major side characters are, or the more ordinary hotel where Megumi and probably Ping are. It seems like the only major character (that I can off hand remember) that isn't in the vicinity is the Ninja, unless he actually is. Thing...

While there are "main" characters there is no such thing as an unimportant side character. Even Miho was a side character once, and the only main ones were Piro and Largo. You never know what a side character might become. The complexity is one of the things I love about this comic.

I read it again, just because, and I felt that Largo in that last panel might have liked to say (in the vein of the younger Darrin's quote), "I don't mind the kissing scenes so much..."

There is not only the connection of the "dying girl" story between Miho and Moeko. There is also the fact that Miho tried to take Erica's fans when she quit (bringing on disaster). Miho channeled Moeko, gave her life, but if Moeko was also channeling Miho's story (in a way) then there would logicall...

This idea intrigues me, especially with the appearance in Miho's mind and also confronting thoughts about dying.

It sounds more like the magical girl (or original) powers the story rather than the other way around, and yes the "managing" of the story probably helps control the fan feedback. The power of all things otaku is very real too... I suspect that Moeko's body is pretty functionless making her mind more...

He really is freaked out there. I wonder what's going through his mind right at that moment.

After reading what Darrin said I had to look up the anime and watch a few episodes. Personally I think Seiya (he spelled it Seita) is Mr. Kobayashi (Seiya/Somma) of course after having been changed up a bit too. After getting "the talk" by grandma, Ping may realize that she's not just missing the psychological parts she needs but maybe some physical ones as well. (She is still rather confused about the differences and convergences of emotional love and physical love.)

I guess I was assuming that all of the kitsune were about the same gingerish color.

It would really hurt to be kicked there (not that I ever have been) since it's soft sensitive tissue backed by bone, but not nearly as painful as to a guy.

I just noticed that this grandma doesn't have fox ears or tail. Is she the human element in the family, or just really good at hiding them.

As to the stockings... in all fairness the part of the stockings that would probably take the most damage and dirt (since she wasn't crawling about on her knees, and these don't look like flimsy nylons) are on the bottoms of the feet, which you can't see, and they do look dirty around the toes.

I'm inclined to agree with Miron's interpretation, though I was rather shocked that the creepy girl actually was Moeko. They must have really done her over for the consumer public, even more than Ririka. Is the fact that both of their stories contained tragedy what made it possible for Miho and Moek...

I wasn't the only one to think of Teddy-Werebear there then... and I missed the fact that creepy wand girl spoke in Japanese, or at least a foreign (at least to us) language. Until that was pointed out I was of the opinion that this was a flashback. It might still be... if the language is something ...

Don't know what Naruto has to do with that...

So there are wilderness areas in Tokyo! There seems to be a plethora of skyscrapers on their skylines though and no western type castles... Still, more possible than I thought it was. Now, to find one with a river, a castle on the skyline, and no sky scrapers... Probably further away.

Fairly far away, but not far enough. That's a pretty big wilderness area there... probably no where near Tokyo, though I'm sure such areas exist somewhere in Japan. Could be a lot of strange things lurking in those woods...

Taking Yaku to the Sonoda's? That would be all kinds of interesting...

I guess that rebellious streak in Junpei also explains his streaked hair color.

Miho just needs to catch her breath, not a heart attack... She may need to get that pacemaker upgraded then.
Yaku called out to "the ninja who's in love with my mom"... Well Junpei is following the "way of love" now. (Is a magical boy?) I expect that he will hear that call.

So... Maybe Miho will have to defy her condition and live up to the new hero role?
