Re: [1611] understandin' love
I'm thinking more along the lines of Mugi running afoul of Granny Ninja and THAT is gonna bring the entire Kitsune clan running....along with a certain newly minted 9-Tail. For good measure, Miho is probably going to come, locked and loaded, as well. The Ninjas might be in for a world of hurt if the...

Is Mugi planning to go look for Junpei? If so, there's going to be a LOT of trouble brewing.

Re: [1602] a normal girl in a lot of trouble
A while back I had predicted this would happen. That Megumi would get very hostile with her Grandma and possibly (and yet to be determined) her Great Grandma. Grandma came oh so close to being turned into a pillar of ash (or whatever is the result of a retributive strike from a nine-tail). Megumi CL...

I could not find a way to edit my earlier post. I apologize for misspelling Megumi's name. A typo that I would love to fix but somehow can't find an editing button for that post.

Re: [1599] you shouldn't just assume
I find myself being oddly sympathetic to Largo in this strip. He seems to be the only one who really understands the potential hazard that exists. I can only hope that because it's family and friends that are grabbing her tails, Magumi won't "explode" and take out half of the city.

Re: [1597] so this is what happens
What Megumi needs is answers, and Grandma is apparently determined not to give them to her. I don't know. Megumi is freaking out over suddenly being a foxgirl. Her reaction to that, asking "how could this happen?!?!", is natural. But getting an answer to that question isn't going address the real p...

Re: [1596] reference material
To all who are thinking Largo is not doing this on purpose, does it really matter? the result is still the same. Erica knows this is highly upsetting to piro as in she can see his body language. maybe kimi zilla needs to put her in her place again. There is a saying in the law."ignorance is no excus...

Re: [1596] reference material
Cruelty might not require intent. You can be cruel to someone without intending to be. MOCKING does require intent. You keep skipping over that part of "making fun of someone". When you mock someone, there is intention there. I think this is where I must part ways in this conversation as well. Your ...

Re: [1596] reference material
Piro may have felt that it was cruel, but if, as I suspect, Largo is doing this in a completely deadpan manner (as if he is merely concerned about the validity of the "reference material"), then he is not mocking Piro. We are talking about mocking, here, not whether or not Piro felt that it was crue...

Re: [1596] reference material
This is almost as good as the last page. And I find Erika just going along with Largo's insanity very amusing, luckily nobody else apparently understands english. it looks like taking the focus off our freshly sprouted magical fox girl helped her calm down a bit, so that is good; although I find Ki...

Re: [1596] reference material
Largo of all people mocking Piro at length for sexual dysfunction in front of Kimiko [emphasis removed, since I didn't make it] This inference is incorrect. Largo is not mocking Piro. In fact, he's simply describing the problems with the "reference material" as "matter-of-factly" as one might descr...

Re: [1596] reference material
As amusing as this is (and I DO find it VERY amusing), it's the next installment that I will be looking forward to. If Granny knows anything about Megumi's "condition", she had better come clean and not beat around the bush. I suspect that Megumi is just a tad bit upset at this point and I am not su...

Re: [1593] I win
Tambo, I would say that those last three panels show a woman who is RAPIDLY transitioning from happiness for her friend to outright despair over her own situation. She looks to be literally only moments away from a full breakdown. Really? She seems a lot more coherent in this whole page than she wa...

Re: [1593] I win
Bottom-left panel: lolsob at "winning" the competition. Bottom-right panel: authentic satisfaction about her friend's happiness. The fact that she can set aside her trauma over her stunning realization just a few moments ago, and take such joy in her friend's fulfillment, is genuinely touching. Als...

Re: [1593] I win
Damn....those last three panels show a person rapidly sinking towards a nervous breakdown. This is what I have been fearing all along. Should Megumi completely lose it, she might cause a massive amount of damage if her power has fully manifested. I am not looking forward to seeing the next strip.

Re: [1592] I just didn't know
Whomever is at the root of this belief by the Kitsune that simply being who and what they are makes them monsters, they need a long series of swift, hard kicks to the groin. Male, female, AI, whatever, don't care. Kicking. Simply the realization that this is who she is has taken on of the most resi...

Re: [1592] I just didn't know
Just as an addendum to my earlier post, I wonder if the clan matriarch is simply projecting her own monstrosity (she is a murderer after all) on the other kitsune in order to justify her own actions and to give herself some comfort.

Re: [1592] I just didn't know
Perhaps the authorities are more negative and we know for sure the ninja are quite negative about them, but we also know for sure that the clan matriarch has been trying to beat a dismal view of kitsune into her clan members. This is a wider society thing, and not so much the fault of great-grandma...

Re: [1592] I just didn't know
At this point I am even more ticked off at the clan matriarch than I've ever been before. From what I have seen in this comic, most people that interact with kitsune in this world, are either neutral to them or maybe even somewhat positive (Kimiko would fall under the positive category). Perhaps the...

Re: [1591] there's no way...
I'd wager it's not Grandma that needs to do some explaining. It's GREAT Grandma that needs to do the explaining. She's the one that clearly has the power to cover Megumi's "condition" up.
