Due to boredom and the desperate need to practice art and animation I am going to animate the entire Megatokyo series to the best of my abilities. I need voices for Piro, Largo, Dom, E3 stand guy, John Romero, Flight attendent, and Leet guy. Send your voice auditions to me at tsukutsukubasa@gmail.com with "Megatokyo Demo" as the subject.

Um just curious but could you give an idea of how some of them should sound? Like Piro is he a bookish sounding guy or someone you'd expect to sound maybe meek or British? Or Largo is he like excited one second and serious the next?

Ex:
Largo: Ph34r m3 and my L337 nekkid skills!

L337 Guy: Joo c4ll d0ct0r?

How do you even do the l337 speak in real life? Junpei would be easier than him.

You could try animating some stuff first before asking people to spend time on something that doesn't exist yet.

What about a trailer or commercial type thing? An animation that not only shows if I can animate this but also give the details to any voice actors. Does this sound like a good idea?

Yeeeeeah. But hey, to the credit of animators, a month isn't a whole lot of time...
I've been lurking around a bit lately and would really like something to come of this. It's crossed my mind before but I can't conform my drawing style to Fred's well enough to make it worthwhile. Good luck though!

I got the materials together to at least fandub the first 30 or so strips 8 Bit Theater Chaos style (borderline The Abridged Series), my only bottleneck has been reliable voice actors partly due to some fallout between me and the IRC squatters and partly due to that I haven't really had the motivation to put it up. I probably could try to finish that part over the next couple of days assuming none of it got formatted.

Example, with using Audicity to do most of the voices.

If I had reliable voice actors I could do 10-15 strips a week, but that takes a level of dedication I'm shocked 8Bit Theater could do.
