Miho assumed that Piro can't understand, so she doesn't even bother to explain anything to him. A self-fulfilling prophecy. We know the ignorance field can be broken with brute force in MT, so it is only a matter of Miho actually wanting him to know what she is on about. Miho had been used to her "superior" position of holding back about herself to Piro and took it for granted.

Seems Erika's comfortable with Largo-levels of (un)reality now, otherwise I don't think she wouldn't be ok with sitting on a moving train.

And Miho needs to explain more, intuit less for Piro to understand.

Welp, with the lifesize doll idea firmly shot down, I think the "fanboys are making a Miho game" idea looks even stronger. Poor Miho.

Moving on to the next step... If Miho does explain it to Piro, what can he reasonably do to help?

Did she really expect him to get it? She should know how well grounded in "reality" he is.

Not to mention it would help if we got an explanation. (Sorry to all those folks who'd rather theorize than have it explained, not that we'll know that much more even with an explanation.)

That's the classic "If you really loved me you'd understand" tactic that drive's men over the edge.

Miho's got a problem. A long standing, serious problem that has her tied up in knots inside. And if Miho were to explain precisely what the problem is as she sees it she'd be leaving herself open to the uncomfortable possibility that Piro might actually understand and *shudder* be able to help.

As for the last panel, personally I'm of the opinion that the sketchy-ness of it is suitable for its context. Maybe a few crisper lines here and there for making out who, and what. But assuming that the train is moving, the "out of focus" nature of the sketch state fits perfectly.

I have a feeling that it is not her fans that are assembling something. Could we see a for the lack of a better name, a Ping Mk II based on Miho in the makings?

The only thing that would make the last panel perfect in my eyes is the replacement of Erika with Junko. (At least in my mind, she's better for him in the long run. That's my perference and I'm sticking to it dammit)

Am I seeing right in the last panel? They're really riding on top of a moving train a la Slumdog Millionaire? Sweet!

Yes, Miho. EXPLAIN it to Piro. Make him understand rather than dance around the issue. Use a ******* Whiteboard and flow chart if need be!

I saw that comeing a mile away. i was thinking they was building a miho copy or figuer. and that largo was oing to show up was a good guess of mine to.

Worst case: The misunderstanding being that the first line is an unconditional announcement of intent, while the second line assumes the first line is merely a depreciative judgment of capabilities.


Oh my! I do hope Largo has explained to Erika about high voltage wires and pantographs in arm's length. Where are they off to and why, I wonder? Why the blocked ID?
Also "howz trix 'n lam3-gam3 l4and?" is really quite insulting. Has Largo ever spoken to Piro like that before?
It's ironic now too, since Piro s currently playing a very difficult game and not doing too badly. Apart from the lying to Kimiko bit.

until I zoomed in 200% I kept reading "Largo's cape of Awesome" as "Largo's cafe of Awesome". Add that to where the arrow is pointing....
