Chinese Gi Joe Is Awesome!

This is obviously Chinese but it's still pretty darn awesome. It's a combination music video for Chinese Brit Rock Band Super VC, commercial for some Chinese toy line and probably an ad for the Peoples Liberation Army. All the hardware seems to be actual PLA machines.

The Nazi looking Mechanauts of course, are clearly unbiased depiction of the evil Taiwanese Democrats who seek only to destroy peaceful China and rape it's boys in red shirts.

It's actually pretty awesome and the animation is top notch.

If you guys occassionally drop by Kmart or whatever your local department stores is and find toys labelled "Power tezam"--G.I.Joe knockoffs, theseare the same company making them--apparently, they've gotten good enough at makign the toys that they can make their own fully legit toyline, with the support of Government.

I think it's sad--the British armed forces can officially sell soldier toys, China can sell soldier toys, but the US DoD can't officially endorse soldier toys without Congress breathing down their backs. And they call it Democracy...

I Lol'd at the Helicopter dodging rockets in midair and the tank grabbing air time.

I was actually hoping for a twist ending where after the boy leaves the relative safety of the jeep to give the corny salute he gets taken out by a sniper.

Well... to be fair, it fades to black, so it could have happened.

Yes! Why can PLA tanks leap out of second story windows but the US Army's tanks can't!?

They've got about the best view of the new Chinese rifles I've seen yet, though.
