[fanart] Miho and some ice cream., :D

Wow... thats... awesome. The only thing which strikes as odd is her face, but it's still better than what i could possibly do.

I think RadEd had the right idea, it's too hot to wear black. (Not that I'd mind a desk size verson of Binary Hanakari's colors..nope, not at all) Hopefuly this will make your desktop a few degrees cooler, and possibly minty fresh....

More on-topic, this thread's starting to bloat up my "Images" folder. Might be time to reorganize that.

There's plenty wrong with me. Soda makes me barf (especially Sprite) as well.

And no, I don't put cookies or chocolate syrup on mine.

...well, all the flavors I like are vanilla, french vanilla and vanilla bean.

I think the only flavors of ice cream that I don't like are the coffee flavored ones.

And for some reason, I saw Miho eating a weird flavor of ice cream like rocky road or butter pecan.

But, Shannon once again your coloring/CGing abilities wow me. =D

And Spanky, I think you should share more of your art with us. Well, okay, you have your DA site in your sig, but still.

Oh dude. They have the BEST coffee popsicles in Korea. I love those things.

And I just had a bowl of butter pecan, haha.

First thing I thought of upon seeing v.1 was "Fruits Basket!" (thin, pointed faces). She's not 'nice' enough to be a Tohru, though.

Green and black striped top - totally suits her.

took me... quite a while to do this, using Lasso and whatnot.. also this is my first CG here. I've done a couple before, but that was a long while ago... and I somehow did this! ; I just experimented with blending and whatnot, to get the effect that I wanted. I got to start doing this more so then I can get better

1: maybe adding pupils would make her seem less "dead"?
2: yeah shiiney's nice... reallly nice.. Maybe I should've made it even more shiny?

well, its good for a first CG! ill start at the top and work down.
Hair:
ok you need to define strands. and the shine usually isnt a straight across line... try putting a darker shade along the edge of each bang and a lighter streak across the middle of each one. THEN slightly lighten the whole top. headband could use shading.

Face: needs more shading... shade more under the bangs, on the sides of the face, and make the cheeks just sliiighty darker. oh yes, the chin and area around her hand too.

eyes: if you look at the way fred draw his eyes, he makes a light bubble in the middle. spanky left this part up to the CGer, making it your responsibility to make her eyes non-zombie ish. and try not to use gradients. makes you look lazy.

clothes: the shading on her jacket is waaaay too extreme. it looks sorta like a leather jacket! the shadows are great, but you realllly need to soften the highlights. they are in the right place though!


well im sorry if i sounded harsh its excellent for a first!!! waay better than my first was hahah.
