Allrighty. This thread might be flamebait but c'mon, it sounds like a good idea. This is an RP based on the Revelation. For those of you that aren't Bible savvy that is the end of the world.

This is like a survival thing, kinda' like The Day After Tomorrow. It's going to be kind of like a free-flowing thing. You guys are going to construct the overall story but I'm going to set up the overall premise.

Character Sheet:

Name:
Race:
Side:
Appearance:
Personality/history:
Weapon:
Divine/Evil/Mortal power: (this all depends on the side that you're on)
And whatever else that you want to put.

And if you havn't deduced this already then there are three sides you can be on. Good, Evil, and Mortal. Each group is going to have their own motivesand own agenda based on the characters in the team. The Mortals can be individuals but the two others are either good or evil.

Edit: forgot to put in tags!
Armageddon is coming. Will you usher in the war or stop it?

Hmmm...Interesting.
I may join this, but out of curiosity, is it possible to play an outcast daemon? One banished from his own world and forced to live among mortals?

Sure. It's all free-flowing. You can be whatever as long as it dosn't stray from the story concept.. (I probably shouldn't do this for fear of being blasphemous, but hey, you gotta take risks!)

Okay. First point - How far are we into the Tribulation?

Second point: Is this a pre- or post-trib Rapture?

Third Point: How far into the future/past (if an alternate history thingie) are we?

I'll be joining this. Just let me think up a character.

Also, I reccomend those who join this to join my RP, hell's flame. It takes place in an alternate reality where evil wins(NOTE:If evil wins in this one, it'll be the same reality.) in this one, and will hopefully be very good.

Wapa raises an excellent point.

When are we?

And, just as importantly, was the prophet right? Are the books of revelations accurate?

Wapa: 1. Just before it. You'll see the Divine Forces getting ready for it in my story post if this ever gets off the ground.

2. Pre-rapture.

3. This takes place in the very near future, about four years. A few new inventions were made, but nothing too advanced.

And yes, this will follow the Revelation almost exactly, but I designed this so that even a an athiest or someone with no knowledge of the Bible would be able to play with no trouble at all.

I will cover everything you guys need in story posts along the way along with my character posts.

Even so, you should consider what each event depicted in Revelations will turn out like. For instance, the first Beast is, IIRC, not just the antichrist but also ten "kingdoms", or ten powerful nations rather. The mark is probably not just a tattoo but also some sort of RFID/nanomachine/brainchip, depending on your theory of choice. [editus minimus] For that matter, the Beast of the Earth could be an AI. If you think about it, it's plausible. Not that I want to get into a theological argument - just that "Fire from the Sky" could be some sort of sattellite weapon or nuke missile, and as for making the Image speak or running the Mark...[/editus]

Though I don't doubt you aren't being ultraliteral. happy.gif

Yes, I have many cool plans, including the Four Horsemen. That's gonna be a fun one. Just sit back and let my story-post take care of it. That is if anyone posts a character and joins. Until then I can't do anything.

Like I said, this is going to be mostly character-run. If you want to add a twist or some new machine that you want to use or what-not then PM me and I will give you the okay.

This is gonna' be fun guys, no doubt about it. Now all I need is some players.

I have decided on a character, and shall be going with the sluggy freelance system for a name. now to begin!

Name: zir.
Race: human.
Side: mortal.
Appearance: roughly 5' 8" with bright red spiky hair. Eyes are pure black.
Personality/history: Zir is a bit of a leader, and essentially wants this entire mess to end. He's fully willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen.
Weapon: his bare hands and martial arts knowledge.
Divine/Evil/Mortal power: zir has unnaturally hard flesh that is incredibly hard to damage, but this has no effect on the kind of damage his fists can dish out.

That good? Not descriptive enough?

Okay, I've got a character worked out. I know next to nothing about the end of the world according to the bible...other than the 4 horsemen appearing. Following what wappa said, the horsemen themselves may not all be from hell. War may be some human made mechanical killing machine (think Johnny 5, but more tank like and uber evil)
Acctually, were the horsemen evil? I mean, aside from war, the others represent things that fall purely to chance and fate.

Anyhoo, here's my character, hope he works fine.

Name: Hito (He kinda gave away his real one, and so adopted this one)
Race: Human (sort of)
Side: Mortal
Age: 19
Appearence: Long white hair, the fringe of which falls just above his eyes. The very end his held in leather bindings. Standing at about 5"10, he wears a white haori, but the sleeves are cut at the elbos. Under that he wears a black t-shirt and has black leather bindings running down his fore arms, ending in specially made leather fingerless gloves. He also wears white trousers (similar to those worn by Bruce Lee in 'Enter the Dragon', except white), and black boots. A silver pendant dangles around his neck. He has three claw marks on his left cheek.
Weapon: Kekkan. A demonic katana blade. (will explain in history)
History: Hito lives without his real name. He is of mixed blood (Eurpean and Japanese) and spent much of his life hoping between Britain and Japan. Those on his mother's side were decended from a long line of Samurai, so Hito learned the ancient art of Bushido since he was very young. When the apocolypse began, Hito's family was slain by invading demons. Having lost everything he held dear, Hito made a deal with a powerful demon of hell. The deal was his soul for the power to defeat the demons. The demon granted him his wish, taking his name rather than his soul, and gave him the Kekkan, a blade fuled by demonic power. He expected Hito's soul to be corrupted by the blades energy, his lust for revenge to make him his slave. But found Hito's heart to be too pure, his will was to save others from the fate that befell his family. The demon was furious and has since pursued Hito, planning to steal his soul. Hito has had to fight off many of his underlings since.
Powers: The Kekkan grants Hito strength and speed to rival that of the demon's he fights, though without the blade he is no stronger than a human. The Kekkan can also tap into demonic energies to cause major damage. Such as its vicous 'Soul Reaver' attack. Then there is also the spirit sealed within the blade, the daemon it takes its name from. Kekkan helps to guide Hito, seeking revenge against the demon who slew him and sealed his soul in the sword.
Personality: A man of justice, Hito will fight anyone who he thinks is a danger to others, be they man, demon or angel. Generally a tolerant person, he suffers the hero syndrome of doing stupid things to save others. He can often seem impatient, longing to be doing something rather than sitting around and talking about it.
Kekkan: This ancient daemon was present at the dawn of time. Hito knows little of his past however. He is very avericous, lustful, and diabolical being. He really only helps Hito out of a want for revenge, though the boy is starting to have an affect on him.

Hope this is all right.

My character that I will be playing as.

Name: Ame'

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Side: Holy

Appearance: Ame' has long curly brown hair. He always looks dirty no matter how many times he cleans himself, and usually wears a dark jacket and dark tattered jeans. He is normal looking, slim and slightly muscular. Although he looks like a guy that would mug you on the subway or in a dark alley, Ame's actions are the exact opposite of that. He has soft eyes set into a harsh yet handsome face.

Personality: Ame' is a very nice person, going out of his way to help people. While he was living in France he was contacted by the angel, Aziraphale. He gave Ame' the means to protect himself (a sword that can't kill) and the power of the holy spirit. He was sent to prepare the world for the end and to stop those that would try to stop it. He has since doubted this, wondering if he was meant to obey the angel or not.

Weapon: Ame' is not fond of fighting, therefore he was given a sword of healing. Ame' has not yet tested all of the swords powers and really dosn't want to, afraid that there might be an offensive force that the sword has not yet allowed him to use.

Power: No power per'se' except for the healing powers of his skinny and light long sword. Although he is very kind at heart, which sometimes leads to him being betrayed.

There! Got my character up. There is another character that I have cooked up (an angel) that will propel the story forward. There you go! Now we need more people and some angels and demons.

Ah, rightio then.

[editus maximus]

Would Aziraphale have contacted any post-rapture converts, or would they automatically be classed on the "mortal" side of things?

Huh. I geuss that's entirely up to you. But yes, it's possibe. And Aziraphale could claim a few converts as warriors if he thought that they were pure of heart enough.

And don't let me misguide you. There wil be Unholy warriors as well if anyone wants to play them.

One thing: Aziraphale's warriors are mortal. You can kill them and they are in no way in the same league as angels and demons.

That's pretty cool but I doubt anybody is going to need to use it, though. This RP is going to be easy to understand to even non-Christians. Although, reading a few pages of Revelations might help some people.

Ah, yet another incarnation of me... albeit a slightly angry and bitter one. I'm awfully good at those, it would seem. And as I am feeling angry and bitter at the moment, it suits it all the better.

Name: Eric Tooley
Race: Human
Side: His own (Human)
Appearance: Eric is a fairly averaged-height individual, coming in at about 5'10", and probably weighing in somewhere around 145 lbs. His lanky brown hair usually comes over his eyes, the bangs in front usually down to his nose. For the most part, he dresses in baggy clothes, but his arms seem to be thin and wiry, so physical strength does not appear to be his forte.

Personality/history: Since the start of all this, Eric has become a rather bitter and angry individual. Well, not that he wasn't angry and bitter before, he's just become even moreso like that. Eric claims that he used to work in a department store, by the sports section, but with the way he handles his weapons... one must wonder what he was REALLY doing at work.

Weapon: Whatever gun he can find. Usually tends to be twin Beretta M1911A1's, which have been polished to a sheen, and can hold extended clips, which allow each gun to carry a clip of 20 bullets instead of the normal 13. These are by no means normal civilian weapons, and the way this gun has been customized is the stuff of legends: It must have been done by a master craftsman, or someone who knew exactly what needed done.

Mortal power: Not really a power, per se, it would seem that Eric's anger is what fuels him. The angrier he is, the scarier he is, and the more he becomes dedicated to his cause. Sometimes, it would appear as if he can do things that nobody else could expect of him, simply because he was angry. Such things include the lifting of heavy objects, or moving faster than he usually does. [In other words, he gets some intense adrenaline rushes when he's pissed.]

So, how's this look? Got no idea what to expect, but hey, it looks good.

Fei, god has answered you prayers and somehow convinced me not to blow you off even though between school, sleep, and my other games I'm just about ready to wrap my lips around a revolver and pull the trigger. Consider this...

Name: Direwolf
Race: Anti-Human*
Side: Evil

Appearance: Direwolf's hair is grey-black and thick, tied back into a loose ponytail. He always looks as though he needs a shave, and his eyes are also grey. He's 6'0" at 170 lbs and has a wiry musculature about him.

Bio: After selling his soul to the Devil, Direwolf prospered as an indestructible military feild commander for many years. When he was killed in combat, he was ordered to return to earth as punishment for failure and also so Lucifer could perfect the art of the Anti-Human, a foul mix of science and sorcery. The Apocolypse has come. His time is at hand. Direwolf comes of as objective and cool-headed, but also has a temper to balance this. If you can stay on his good side, you're relatively safe.

Weapon: Any and all SMGs, sniper rifles, pistols, heavy weapons and ICBMs he can lay his hands on. The man (if he can be called a man) has been given many lifetimes of unholy combat experience to further his own self-earned prowess with a firearm, and enacts his will with brutal force.

Mortal Power: Direwolf is fueled by a hunger for power. He is kept alive by a twisted hatred toward all living things, and is fed with cold malice and cruelty. He breaths in clean air and breaths out toxic fumes. His blood is the very magma of hell, and his heart was forged from obsidian. His grey eyes burn everything they see, and he can do nothing less than destroy everone and everything he touches. He is immune to fire, and extremely difficult to kill. He is The Devil's Hand, taking the mask of a mortal so he may consume humanity from the inside out. Direwolf wages his own war and marches to the beat of his own insidious drum. Direwolf spares no man, woman, or child. Direwolf is evil.

*An Anti-Human is one of the most despicable of the Devil's creation, a bastard son of alchemy, modern cyborg technology, and the occult. It is everything man was not supposed to be and more. All Anti-Humans were once men, the noblest of them in fact. However Satan took them and turned them into something vile. Now they are Pallidus, Oni, Anti-Humans.

It's the best I could do mixing what little knowledge I have of the Bible, my ability to create the impure, and a vast and growing vocabulary of big words. I know I took the 'freeform' bit of it kinda far, and I'm perfectly willing to change it if you think I've crossed the line.

Fei, you are the GM: You start when you feel you are ready to.

As for owing me a favor... nah, you owe me nothing. You invited me to a game, and it sounded interesting enough that I didn't think would completely destroy my brain, unlike the WingCommander game. I really wanted to play, but when I read the DISC, my brain just sorta... broke.

And besides... playing in another game helps my brain to somewhat refresh itself. I may find inspiration in this game, and apply it to my writing skills somehow... one can never tell.

The story post is up. Check it out guys.

And yes, the reps from Heaven and Hell are friends. They have been enemys so long that they developed an odd friendship. They rather like humanity and don't want it to end, just-so-ya-know.

And the anti-christ has not yet revealed him/herself, so don't start PMing me about that.

Edit: Oh, there are only very few Holy and Unholy warriors that were chosen by Hastur and Aziraphale so please don't make posts where your killing a bunch of them. Every now and then feel free to waste one or two but not all the time.

And the story begins. Remember, each and everyone of your character's actions will affect the story and the winner of the war, if the war dosn't get stopped that is.

Name: Jeff "El Jeffe" Brannon
Race: Human
Side: Mankind (Human)
Age: 15
Appearance: Jeff looks older than he is, much older, around twenty-two in fact, as he stands at six foot one and weighs 210 pounds. He doesn't look muscular, although he is, and isn't particularily fast when it comes to anything but sprinting and reaction time. His eyes look fractured, as if someone punched him so hard that the dark brown shattered. His hair is in a mohawk most of the time, with the side slicked back with styling wax, colored a deep and powerful red, the same color he dies his short, trimmed beard, adding to his height by two inches. He usually dresses in blacks and greys, always a cotton-polysester blend or double mercercized cotton because of their inherent strength. Most of the time he wears a long sleeved turtle neck to cover up embarassing scars, not from suicide, just from falling down, or fights.

Personality/history: El Jeffe was never quiete sure what the world was like; he had had a fractured youth because of an inability to hear and a deepset, almost schizophrenic paranoia, the reason it wasn't schizophrenic is because the angels and the demons really are out to get people -- or so Jeffe claims. There's something about him, as if the world blurred around him or he was more real than real, the kind of intensity of person one gets after being totally and utterly proven correct. He's not proud, and his morals are slim, but strong and inflexible, but he carries his head high and is unafraid to show himself to others.

Jeff claims to have been a sophmore in college, and has the knowledge to back it, but he also claims to be 23, which almost everyone believes too. He also says that he used to work for a foresting company as someone who made and laid bombs. It is not surprising consider his considerable knowledge of demolitions and homemade guns.

Weapon: The punker's a fan of the good ol' blow it the hell up approach, which is why he carries with him twenty pounds in claymore mines, this comes out to half a pound of C6 (kitchen variety) and one and a half pounds of ball bearings. This means ten seperate mines. What he doesn't tell people is that the kevlar vest he has enough C6 in it to blow a ten foot crater in the ground. However, he also carries five pounds of C4. But, he knows, oddly enough, that he'll run out of explosives at some point or another, and that sometimes; blowing stuff up isn't the point. Which is why he carries around a desert eagle .45 and a large combat knife.

Mortal power: Jeffe has the amazing ability to dodge bullets. Well, rather, his reaction time is fast enough that he could dodge a bullet, however, probably not more than three consecutive bullets.

Samu (kicking E-l337 in the ribs): I said up, boot! You know which direction up is?

wapa: What time is it sarge?

Samu: S'time for your mommy to shake you awake, Private. MOVE YOUR ASSES AND GET THE HELL OUT FRONT! DOUBLE QUICK TIME!!!

In other words, post dammit. The bar ain't THAT high.

Well here I go...

Character Sheet:

Name: Al Turner

Race: Human Age 25

Side: The side that doesn't get him sent to the after life

Appearance: He is very clean cut and doesn't wear any signs of faith. Crewcut brown hair 5'11" 200 Lbs. black tinted sunglasses, black pullover, woodland camo BDUs pants and gray running shoes. Also a small backpack with extra ammo and his laptop.

Personality/history: Works as a customer service rep for one of the big computer companies during daylight hours, and does close protection at night. He has no real faith to speak of, only knows that that you call a spade a spade. Will protect all he calls friends and has a weird and twisted sense of humor.

Weapon: (1) M14 with sniper scope and bi-pod (1) HK G36C, (2) 45 cal sig handguns, and a tazer (50,000 volts of fun). Lets not forget his wit.

Name: Andrew

Race: Angel (rank: Angel *in other words, the lowest rank)

Side: Good

Appearance: Brown Hair, blue eyes, a set of wings which after the rapture will seem to be molting, blue jeans, t-shirt, a long black overcoat which can cover his wings (the last three items, given to him so that he may do his final assignment without attracting attention).

Personality/history: During the great war between Heaven and Hell, he served as a foot soldier of the unit that was under the command of Aziraphale. After the war and the creation and folly of man, Andrew was assigned the guardianship of a few assigned mortals, until they died in which case he would be given his next assigned human. Currently, he believes that his assignment is now over as now the rapture has happened and soon the earth will be removed from God's presence and grace.... He is unaware of the ultimate task as a guardian he will have to undertake, as one to personally assist the selected mortal warriors.

When on earth at this time, Andrew is somewhat fearful due to the fact that while he is out of God's presence, his power is steadily draining. Though angels can very rarely die, there are plenty of accounts of what happens to angels who are overpowered and captured by the enemies and the undescribable tortures they undergo until they too are demons of Hell. Despite this, Andrew still tries to hope for the best, and attempts to do his duty to the best of his ability.

Weapon: A rather standard issued angelic weapon, a holy flaming sword. The "flame" on the weapon is merely an aura of the power of the weapon and its wielder. This weapon is mainly for battle against lesser demons and apparitions, as anything beyond those tend to be either very thick skinned, heavily armored, or something you do not wish to be in close range combat with.

Divine power: As soon as God's presence leaves the earth, Andrew's power and speed may only somewhat exheed that of the mortal warriors, and from there it falls over time. He is able to heal wounds and is able to create a protective shielding around himself or the warriors, though neither of which he can do without a little bit of time and personal strain.

Extra note: As was said earlier, his wings seem to be molting once he is on the earth after God's presence from it is gone. His wings, as you may have already figured out, are representive of his remaining power. Day by day feathers will be coming off and when Andrew goes under some sort of strain (use of powers, battle, ect) an even greater amount will molt off.

Well what do you all think? Is it acceptable?

Samu... you of ALL the people in this game should know that I rarely post on weekends, on account of me spending most my time at home asleep.

I'm going to go look now that I have time. I just hope I can go home soon and get some REAL rest... MGS3 kept me up all night last night... goddamn sniper duels...

God, your character is evil.

And I'm pretty sure that an Angel can't die. Their body can be destroyed but I think that they can be issued a new one later. (heh, Kinda like the army. Lose your gun, get yelled at, get a new gun.)

And Keyo: prepare yourself! (for a post.)

I think Llewin is going to be joining us sometime soon. He sent me a PM recently asking if he could join.

And has anyone got the scoop on Wapa? Is he coming in or what?

Hah, I get an introduction, sweet.

Name:Luez
Race:Human
Side:Evil intentions, yet neutral
Appearance: He is a tall mexican mortal with dark tannish skin. His black hair stands straight up as though they were spikes. Very broad shoulders define his upper body. It's hard to see the rest of him through his baggy rusrty red shirt. The lower half of him is obstructed by his baggy jeans and hiking boots one size too big.
Personality/history: For a long time he had felt the need to protect his elders as well his family. At one point he was considered a religous man, devout in the was of Christianity. But on a fateful day he found that god had turned his back one them. The mexican government set in a plan that involved the destruction of his village. While he was out hunting the ellusive choopicabra(spelling?) his village was destroyed. All the homes were reduced to rubble; the blood of the inocent spread across the walls of the church. Many soldiers where there, still reaping the benefits of war. In rage he killed them and over and over again. Smashing them even after they were dead, making sure nothing was left but a pulp. The entire time his thoughts were on god, Why why why?. His only conclusion as to why he would let this happen is that he did not deserve it. Luez did not deserve to live. He came-to drinking the blood of his fallen foes. And for the first time in his life, he was satisfied. Since then he has been on a mission of hunting god.
Weapon: He carries a dual pistols at his side and a halfmoon axe on his back. The steel on the axe looks the color of dried blood.
Divine/Evil/Mortal power: Bloodrage, when he sees blood he goes into a frenzy and becomes unreasonable. Bloodfrenzy, once he feels blood he immediately craves to kill more, he is blnded and acts irationably. Bloodgore, once he tastes blood, inclding his own he becomes a killing machine with extreme skill in all bladed weapons. This is easy to tel as his eyes turn red.
And whatever else that you want to put. He has a daughter that he doesnt know about. She is unaware and living in America, with (who else) the man who murdered his family.

That last part is classic and had to add it in. Anyway looking forward to playing this character.

Evil? Nahh, he just enjoys life. Mostly the living part of it. Devil, Angel... it won't matter to him. He's after both sides, because he's in the middle of THEIR war.

So, he's not really evil per se... he's just not a very nice person. happy.gif

As for the angel dying part... well, it has a physical body, so at least the body died. Whatever happens next... happens.

And besides: If Angels couldn't die, how could Hell even have a chance of winning?

Just out of curiosity, I clicked here and noticed that this has nothing to do with the movie Reign of Fire. Having said that, can I still join? I already have a character thought up, if you wouldn't mind some comic relief.

Does anyone know if Wapa is joining?

Oooh, I do, I do! o|

Basically, yeah. I've been having a few things to deal with over here in the real world. Issue number one: I lack work. Now, this wouldn't be so much of a problem (in fact I could see some advantages to it) if it weren't for four important facts:

1) I seem to need to work to get inspired to write

2) My parents are threatening to charge me rent

3) My parents will not provide me with petrol money

4) I'm trying to woo myself a girlfriend

Needless to say, these all require some sort of money, which means I've been jobhunting and even attending a couple of courses for stuff. Now, this doesn't take up TOO much time, but when added to the horrid ease with which I may be distracted, it sucks up the time like twelve layers of tissue paper.

Issue Number Two is that I'm trying to set my erratic muse to work again. This has been taken up for a time by a very surreal modern fantasy story, inspired in part by things like The Sandman and Soul Taker, in part by my two days of employment at a bakery, and a lot by the attempt to get myself back into a normal sleep/wake cycle by staying up until about two on the night after I was let go. However, that sort of died down when I started getting into The Dragonbone Chair and Berserk again - not helped by the fact that I started downloading the Berserk soundtrack (I'll buy it when I get money...trust me...) - which isn't good when my inspiration for surreal is all lo-fi stuff. But then the other day I borrowed a few more Sandman comics from the library, and foolishly started on them before Stone of Farewell...so now all of a sudden I'm listening to the Hellsing soundtrack and thinking, "Man, I just wanna write that scene with the crucifixes erupting out of the ground...", while my mum's asking "Hey, did you ring up about that job at the Reactor?", for the 16th time today, my dad's saying "You shouldn't go in for that interview if you don't know what the job actually is. For all you know they could be Scientologists!", my brother's stopping by from out West to elbow me on his way to some roller skating thing, my sister's "Out", but still managed to make it next to impossible to tell what snacks are "ours" and what snacks are "hers", we're out of milk, I have no clue what to eat for breakfast and lunch what with boycotting cereal, and to top it all off I still haven't rung the girl back about our supposed First Date on Saturday. And adding insult to injury my good keyboard died a couple of weeks back, forcing me onto my horrible old one in which the keys are so tough to type on you practically need a hammer. And my net connection's started cutting out at random moments.

I'm still kinda interested in this. Hopefully I'll be able to post a character, (though it'd probably be a Goodie in spite of my desire to play a human-possessing demon, just to balance things out) and you said new players can join at any time...but if I don't appear within a couple of days, you know why. happy.gif

Phew. Sorry, all, but I really had to get all that stuff out to someone, and since Dolce's offline and my slog only runs to six lines...well...there's a glimpse into my life as of now.

[editus maximus]

Now, when I said "I know if I'm joining", I meant say, "I'm not even sure myself." And when I say Dolce's offline, I mean in MSN. So nyah. >:-P

Sorry I've only managed to post once.

FUN FACT: listening to a comedian talk about food and me being starving caused me to say "eat once" instead of "post once" at first.

I've been playing way too much megaman zero three, as I just got it. This game is AWESOME, and HARD AS FUCK. it's taken me two days just to get into the "groove"(NOTE: The "groove", is when I adjust to a game's difficulty level, and get past the first big difficulty hump. This is most common in megaman games, where the first level or two are much harder than the rest for me.).

You know what makes my brain itch? Quantum theory as per "qubits".

You see, qubits are at once the measurement of the smallest known component piece of an atom, and can be used for logistic computer processing. Cool, huh? Well, seven of them can synthesize seratonine in all of a few milliseconds, while all the matter in the projected universe could not in four hudnred years if it were put together tof orma large computing mass.

However, the reason that the qubit has such a large processing power is because of what is known as the Yes-No state, or superstate, in which the qubit can be both Yes and No at once, or for you nonsymbolic computer nerds 0 and 1. This means that they have intense processing power, as before stated, however, I like that word, however, they have an effect called "decausation" in which, once directly observed, the calculations stop.

Stop. Don't pass go, don't get $200 -- just stops. And then the equation unravels. Do you know what that means? The act of perception affects what we perceive in mid action, as looking behind the curtain of a play would if you were not supposed to. Imagine -- once we perceived the idea of living dead there could be living dead, however, once we "disproved" this there were no more living-dead.

This means we are the final executors of the universal equation. At least, it does mean that in my mind.

Anyone else need a scalpel for a little brain itching? I've run out.

*turns up Rammstein*

Ya know Samu, you can delete the pevious post and wont be considered doubleposting, if you do it right. I just copy everything ya said and add anything knew, like POST!

That was an example.

Just curious, why are people here, other than those that will participate in the war. I would think that everything is empty, like the Walmart. And if people are running, where are they going. Isnt this world wide? Hey Samu, might get a bigger crowd at the airport laugh.gif

The apocalypse counts as a school holiday, right? Or at least a spring break or something.

Im sure the casual diner owner would say, "Oh Boy! The Apocalypse, great time for business. You employees stay here and run the place while the worlds coming to an end."

Now if it was an angelic diner, that would be pretty cool. A diner run by angels. Or even werewolves, that would be awsome. In fact, thats it, I'm totally doing it.

"Hi I would like the sin special with a side of faith and a large Pepsi. Uhh yeah supersize it. What!? An entire soul, sheesh, prices have gone up."

Lord of Fallen, sorry for not posting earlier. In reply to your brain itching, I present: The answer to the Universe.

Thirty-two.

Then you must ask yourself the next question: What IS the question to that answer?

What is seven times eight? The answer is: Thirty-two.

If you are confused by any of this, then perhaps you have not yet done enough reading. To quote: "I knew there was something fundamentally wrong with our universe."

Now, go do a Wiki on Douglas Adams if you STILL don't get it. Trust me... it all makes sense in the end.

E-l337, no problem, no worries; no issue.

The answer... Is either 32 or 42, I can't quite remember my self, I really do need to read those books again. In fact, considering I have the whole series, I think I will.

I know I posted some time ago that I wanted to join, but shit happens. I just can't think of something I wanted to write. Maybe I'll come back later if my schedule clears up or my muse comes back. Whichever comes first.

Oh, and E-, I got the reference. I got a whole gold-leafed compilation of the series stashed somewhere on my bookshelf that I've only read about halfway through.

No, I haven't seen the previews just yet... though I've heard that its pretty bland unless you're already familiar with the series. >.< Ah well! Off to go read storyposts now...

Bumping story threads is bad unless you actually post something, as opposed to merely *bump*. I'm not saying that to be a jackass, but it's just a bad thing to do.

Oh, and why was Fei-fei-fei-fei banned?

New post is up. Come on guys, this thread can't die yet! It just got started!

Keep the posting up. And yes, it's a story post.

The story moves from our nameless-city to the city of Pheonix, Arizona! (the city is fitting for what happens later on in the story)

Keep the posting up!
