Well, the long Thanksgiving weekend is past, and even those of us who don't work at the mall must now acknowledge the fact: the Christmas season is upon us again. And that, of course, means that half the radio stations and every store you walk into will be playing Christmas tunes and driving you up the wall.

But wait! There is a way to fight back! When that particularly irritating song is stuck in your head, take it and make it into something wonderful! A Megatokyo filk!

Basically, I have a challenge for you wordsmiths out there. Filk some Christmas songs. As many as you like. Don't worry about filking the same thing other people are filking; I wanna see as many different takes on the traditional songs as possible. We had some success doing this last year; a lot of neat filks came out of it. However, this year is a new year, and a lot has happened in MT since then.

So, let's see what we can come up with!

Good King Wenceslas looked out, On the Feast of Stephen,
