Now where did that little guy go? While it could spawn a whole new spin off comic, I doubt it'll go that far. While I have a feeling the guys will bring him back eventually, for the time being I came up with this little storyline for fun. Let me know what you think since I'm don't have m4d skilz at drawing.

(Based on real events, replacing Tsubasa and the dialog of course. )

FADE IN

[Show JIM in bathrobe. He needs a shave. He apears to be going to bed even though the sun is shining through the windows.]

SFX: Knock Knock!

Jim: HuH?

SFK: Knock Knock!

Jim: Yeah yeah... [Opens door] huh?

Show a disheveled looking Tsubasa.

Tsubasa: Ah... is this the homeless shelter?

Jim: [mutters and scratches himself] No it's not. This is a private residence. The homeless shelter is on 209 NORTH first ave.

Tsubasa: Oh! Gomen!

Jim: No problem.

[Tsubasa turns to leave and Jim begins to close the door. Then he freezes.]

Jim: Gomen?

[Jim rushes outside and yells after Tsubasa]

Jim: Wait!

Tsubasa: ?!

FADE OUT

Now if no one decides to stop me, I'll continue my little Tsubasa side story. As for these events, it stinks living in the middle of nowhere. My address IS the same as the local homeless shelter, and I do have people waking me up in the middle of the day trying to find it.

*Sigh*

How can people think my HOUSE is a homeless shelter. Oh well. I would normally be kind and tell them how to get there, but some days I'm really cranky. (I work nights) Poor Tsubasa here would probably get my cranky answer as shown. Though NO ONE speaks Japanese in the middle of the Southern California desert, which of course gives me pause.

Actually, I'm not sure. It's Sorta related to the story line, yet at the same time related to my normal writing. (It is my first post after all) That extra bit you quoted is just an aside describing the why, it is easily removed.

Insofar as answering the question of where Tsubasa went to, then it belongs here, but the side story might be better off in Art and Writing.

If you don't want to break the fourth wall, then Tsubasa is probably currently still in America looking for his first love. Then again, not as much time has passed since Tsubasa departed.

If you do want to break the fourth wall, I believe the Tsubasa cahracter was written out of the story at the real-life influence's request, though I'm not 100% sure on that. With that in mind, the possibility of a return is less likely, but you never know.

It'd be a funny twist of fate if Piro and Largo finally made it back to their home in America, only to find that Tsubasa was living at their place.

*chuckles*

Okay, I'll forget about the side story. Though wondering where he went to is fun. Both your answers seem plausable, especially since it seems MT is based off of family and friends. (Just like many writers do)

I like to think of what Tsubasa is doing while wandering around America. I like your idea about finding him in thier homes at the end.

I'm pretty sure that RL Tsubasa requested that he be removed from the comic, so he's not going to be mentioned anytime soon, unless RL Tsubasa changes his mind about being in the comic... (that could be interesting)

Okay, I'll make it official, then and add it to the page later.
Take a drink when ... Somebody mentions the possibility of a Tsubasa in America spin off comic.

By the way,
In reply to:

Q: Is Tsubasa coming back?
F: I'm not really sure yet. For all intents and purposes, probably not, but he is an element of the story. The guy that represents Tsubasa wanted to be out of the comic and I felt that was a good way of accomplishing that. That's what have to be careful about when you've got people who are represented (not necessarily a 100%) in the comic. This is why I won't have any other real life female people in the comic because the guys I have no problem beating up on.
