Lately I've been listening to a lot of:
The Fiery Furnaces
The Decemberists
CAKE
Beck
Pink Floyd
Chopin
Pro Audio

And on the OST side, I've been enjoying:
Any Guilty Gear OST
Mario Galaxy OST
Suikoden OSTs
Odin Sphere OST
SaGa OSTs

And if none of the above, anything I've ever downloaded from OverClocked Remix on random.

These are all my most loved music at the moment, I used to be a serious metal head but have now chilled right down and am loving post-rock, dream pop and shoegaze.

You say post rock, but I don't see Red Sparrowes on that list. They're a must listen.

I neglected to mention the Flaming Lips earlier! I also left off Jethro Tull. I've been listening to a good amount of both lately.

Eh, my favorites. (Sort of in alphabetical order, not counting the first band listed)

(edited/removed list for length)

My tastes have changed a bit, mind if I revise them?

Amon Amarth
Asian Kung-Fu Generation
Breaking Benjamin
Bullet For My Valentine
Cold
Daft Punk
Demon Hunter
Disturbed
Dropkick Murphys
Godsmack
Gorillaz
Hoobastank
Hostile Groove
Killswitch Engage
Linkin Park
MegaDriver
Michael Jackson (may he rest in peace)
Mudvayne
Rise Against
Slipknot
Story of the Year
Sublime
System of a Down (mostly just stuff from the "Toxicity" album. I don't really care too much for their music after that)
The Lonely Island (just for laughs. I don't take their music too seriously)
They Might Be Giants
Various artists from OverClocked ReMix
Other than these, I like mostly all rock, most metal, some techno, a tiny bit of rap.

Finally, I'm a part of a community that enjoys Industrial... The last probably four communities were all metal-dominated. I'm so happy.

Velvet Acid Christ
Suicide Commando
Imperative Reaction
Leaether Strip
Dawn of Ashes (Old DOA, not the newer albums. Iunno what happened to them.)
System Syn
The Dead 60s
Arcade Fire
Joy Division
Alice in Chains
Cage The Elephant (Thank you, Borderlands.)
Nosaj
Aphex Twin
Sven Vath
Wumpscut
And One
VNV Nation
Explosions in the Sky
DangerDOOM
DangerMouse
The Beatles
MF DOOM
Del tha funk Homosapian
Akira the Don
Stromkern
Adult.
Nine Inch Nails
Nitzer EBB
Skinny Puppy
Frontline Assembly
The Killers
Foo Fighters
Cold (They may suck live, but some of their songs are amazing.)
New Order
Boards of Canada

And, since I am a Texan after all,

Johnny Cash
Clint Brown
Eli Young
Toby Keith (Nothing after My Kind of Rain, mind you)

So how are my tastes? And may I personally thank each and everyone of you for making a community that I actually want to be a part of.

I'm not telling any certain band, just the kinds of music.
1.- Thrash Metal (Beyond the embrace, Anthrax, Megadeth, ...)
2.- Nu-Metal (Machine Head, Mnemic, ...) (Thrash/Progresive Metal)
3.- Death Metal (Kataklysm, ...)
4.- Heavy Metal (Children of Bodom, ...)

Listen to some of their songs, and start from there.

I love Radiohead too! But as I've gotten older I find it harder to enjoy it like I used to. Thom Yorke can get a bit whiny sounding. Right now my favorite is Rocky Votolato but I'm sure it'll change in a year or so, but I'll continue to love him and his band.
