Piro's clumsy move
more than awkward circumstance
Kimiko is stunned

"yes! please! coffee good!"
wow - such a smooth line, tarzan.
you got her swoonin'.

Kimiko's lap pour
her signature move. Finish
him, Queen of Fighters! Hai!

Faint heart never won fair
maiden. Piro, make your play
or live defeated.

Unscheduled damage
A pourtent of things to come?
Gray storm clouds gather.

Are you scared? It's him!
"Coffee good"?! Go the lap pour!
Signature move, eh?

When Piro the girl saw,
Wide open he dropped his jaw.

Mind blank, tongue locked,
Of the two he wasn't the most shocked.

"Coffee good" only can he mutter,
But where he'll get it we all wonder.

morning hangover
a hesitant Piro-kun
adds up to trouble?

Gesture speaks loudly:
Welcome? Humiliation?
"Say it with coffee"

I tried to do another Norse one, but this isn't, quite.

Guzzling barley-gold
Last night, unlocked each lip --
Under the sun at lunch
Today, their twin tongues trip.
Her head hurts; his heart
Beats hummingbird hope.
Care-full, the coffee-goddess
Considers how best to cope.

<tanka>
Heat burns in her cheeks
While words boil off him like steam.
He is energy;
Yet she must bring him coffee?
Does the sun order fusion?

[irish_haiku]
With these uncertain lovers, poor Cupid
Has so far caused only bemusement,
While their awkward travail,
For us readers, avails
A condition of painful amusement.
[/irish_haiku]

[!haiku]Very nice imagery in both of those, Mintaka![/!haiku]

Piro draws a tent
While Kimiko goes to pour...
Portent? Poor tent? Pour?

To look in her eyes
Pardon my tinge of scarlet
Hot face, muddled thought

For a waitress, it is quite a plight,
When the otaku stops in for a bite.
But not of the cuisine.
So will she make a scene?
"No, I scalded him enough last night."
