People say eyes are
portals to the soul; can you
see the hurt in hers?

eee... that one shot of Miho's face... *tears* ...

<!-- a little verse I my sleep-deprived mind ... I guess the word is mutated. looking at this the only opinion I can think of is "I'm gonna regret this in the morning... but hey, lets see... -->
Dear Miho, what do you whisper?
Under your breath...

Oh Miho, and what do you dream?
Behind your brow...

Pray Miho, let me know your mind,
To ease your pain...

Sorry Ping, my lips are still sealed,
I cannot tell...

However Ping, my eyes are the key,
My life is there...

damaged in battle
our sad and lonely miho
so misunderstood

she just wants to love
and feel love of another
can't anyone see

maybe largo will
and love her for all she is
a sad lonely girl

....... one can only hope... and if he doesn't, I'll step up, ..... oh no..... does my love for kimiko waver???

She left without Ping
her victory tastes sour
this strip made me cry

Largo made me mad
he used to be l33t master
now he makes girls cry

Innocent Ping looks
other students jeer Miho
This is compassion?

even victory
cannot bring her happiness
does she need a friend?

Bitter victory --
Unseasonably warm day
Turned cold by cruel speech.

The friend is silent;
Only the fallen foe asks
Why the victor runs.

The sadness inside
Released by victory, not
Defeat, like you'd think.

Why runs she away?
She hast defeated me, but
She gloats not at all.

[irish haiku]
Losing in Super Moe-Moe Ball
Is apt to drive Largo up the wall
But that look in her eyes,
Stops his rant with surprise
And leaves him feeling unworthy and small.
[/irish haiku]

You didn't get it
Why don't you understand me?
I won to win you.

Aww, this one is really good.

Tohya can't catch a break, even as she wins.
What could be so dire and horrific sins,
That made her damged in battle,
As she tries to struggle,
and to face her classmates' sinister grins.

Shallow victory
a beautifully sad face -
but when does it snow?

At times like this the
Veil falls about her, and she
Only wants to cry.

A graceful exit
Under the circumstances.
Her foil, abandoned

In the game, watches
Frustrated in the wake of
Her sudden egress;

Still seeing life through
Hate-coloured lens, he wonders
Why he can't see her.

his arm's broken
they played the game
her heart's broken

Gah, it's not haiku, tanka, or even the Infamous Irish Haiku of Limerick, but it needed to put scrawled into cybespace

Brash wolf, defeated wolf,
When will you learn?

toss off the retort
to wonder why
at the abject hurt
that lay in her eye(s)

Brash Wolf, Foolish Wolf,
When will you learn?

It's not the battle that wounds her so
But the parting shots

Gah, it's just a little seeding of poetry, but I thought I'd plant it.

Once I went out walking
Upon a frozen lake,
And there I laid some kindling,
In which I made a flame.
The ice began to crack,
And melt to liquid black,
But when I turned my back,
The water froze again.
