[!Haiku] I guess, I am the first haiku-er to arrive today. so here we go[/!Haiku]

don't "share" your food, girl.
and don't forget your cell-phone,
just in case they call.

[!!-- and now for the irish part of the show: --!!]

Kimiko's looking pretty rough,
to think about has lots of stuff:
her hours swapped,
audition dropped.
So things are looking mighty tough.

Kimiko sitting,
Erika chiding, soothing...
Black and White Layout

Very simple now,
No dramatic camera shots:
Roommates DO care.

[and the Irish end of things]

With her work ethic strongly in place,
our Kimiko sits flush in the face:
her duty to serve
may just fray her last nerve
if Erika won't get off her case!

An evening of fun at Beer Garden,
got a slew of new plot devvies startin'
both Piro and friend,
may not last to the end,
if these what-ifs and maybes keep smartin'!

[context: "ooh, that smarts!"]

The morning after
Why is Kimiko's face green?
Oh. Beer, angst and guilt.

It is a pity
That Kimiko isn't as
Charged as her cell phone

Says Erika, "Hey, girl, you really look like crap
You suffer from withdrawal from sweet nectar on tap."
Says Kimiko, "I won't be sick
At least if I have my pick
On things that"

can the pounding stop?
writing haiku hungover
is never easy.

writing haiku abt someone being hungover, while you, yrself, are hungover, is less than a good idea. score: hoegaarden 1, shaper_diaz 0.

pity for herself
no longer concealed by beer
keeps her spirits low

Poor Nansanawa,
Hungover, must go to work,
Try not to throw up.

Distressed Kimko
Now obligated to work
Life sometimes is cruel.
