Adolescent dreams
Shoujo Manga holds the truth
Has Autumn arrived?

Happy girl with bear
Hopes for changes in the heart.
It was not for her.

Shoujo manga give
her happiness and support.
So does the big bear.

In reply to:

Adolescent dreams

Has Autumn arrived?

No. Here in this town
Summer ends only after
"The Food Festival".

Stories that she reads
May not be meant for one heart
But for many here.

Hearts' changing may seem
Like storms of hate, lit harshly
And slashing cold rain

Knocking leaves from trees,
Killing fruit like winter does --
But both end in growth.

Btw, the news from here:

Noisy aspen leaves
Fall first, but in quiet brown.
Summer's end begins.

Nothing has happened.
A chapter has ended with
Vague references.

We still do not know
What has changed. Real life Piro?
His alter ego?

Piro the author
May have changed something subtle.
Context, or story.

Piro's got something planned
anticlimactic ending
leaves us hanging on.

From Yuki's readings,
a strange ethereal calm
flows through her, and us.

The truth is shoujo
The chapter is concluded
Trust in the stuffed bear.

spring is growing hope;
hope's fulfillment has brought her
to summer's threshold.

[irish_haiku]
Held warmly by guardian bears,
And safe from the world's many cares,
Our sweet Yuki's content
With her sensei's consent,
And the promise of joy to be shared.

End of an era
the begginning of a new
I just can't wait, you?

Little Yuki sits
Hair down, reading with a smile
Happy Girl With Bear

**SWOON**

sometimes still
2002 0823

Winter winds will sometimes still go howling by,
come crashing against windows, blowing under doors.
The sun still hides, wrapped in grays, from the bluer sky,
this early place twixt winter, spring, it brings the seasons four.
Sometimes snow is melting, sometimes snowflakes fly,
and his heart still wears it's icy white decor.
But I took a walk without my coat just yesterday,
and it's just a little warmer than it was before.

The world keeps going
And things will change bit by bit
This is life my friend

What of the future?
Endless possibilities
That we shall soon see

A smile, small and dear
A signal for times of change
Little by little

Yuki reads shoujo
Will the manga fantasies
Give her odd ideas?

<!haiku> My first try at a haiku. I've always been better with prose than poetry, so I hope this didn't suck. <!haiku>

with fuzzy flannel
an old tale gains new meaning
Yuki's hopeful smile

Yuki's moving with
the seasons of her heart and
waiting for the spring.

Time moves ever on while
we sit back in wonder and
ignore passing rains.
