Akibahara
Endless racks of loneliness
Cubesoft's Title: Sight.

[Edit: Sorry, I wasn't happy with the final line. This one feels better]

Sight:

This looks fun, but I'll
need the game manual and a
good dictionary.

Those eyes would see through
To my deepest, inner soul
Were they not downcast

"She's very cheerful;
she's so pleasant that her eyes
are shining." Are they?

Though it's true she's sad
our gamers don't like a game
with sad girls, you know...

I tread the shadows
The borders, the grey places
And I am apart

Memorable? No
The grey shields me from their eyes
And I walk alone

Cubesoft cover art
another sad girl Piro?
this time without snow.

Posted by: luckyrabbit Feb 8 2002, 07:11 AM
Alone she looks at
me her eyes like pools of song
a sad requiem

Kind wishes to piro
his art always makes me feel
a little something

This is the game art?
I thought this was an H-game?

She demurs "I'm not
exactly memorable".
Yet those eyes haunt me.

A girl of greys.
Her hair moves with the wind.
Twice removed from real.

Posted by: Falan Feb 8 2002, 11:15 AM
What I wouldn't give,
to see she whose heart is grey
smiling unabashed.

(I think this is what's called tanka . . . tanka is when it's two 7-syllable lines after the 5-7-5, right?)

Eyes of shadow stare
At uncertain ground beneath
What can those eyes see?
Can you know this girl of shade
From nothing but shades of gray?

Light and dark here blend.
A cover over herself,
happy to the touch.
Full of life and energy
to push the rest inside her...

[!haiku] Garran, that was sw33t. I wasn't affected by the pic at all until I read your "I tread the shadows" verse and realized that she might be just like me in that respect [/!haiku]
