Warm dark closes 'round.
Piro and Sera spelunk
without any cave.

Sera teaches us
by example one of those
big, eternal truths:

Other's phobias
are easy to bear. But my
weakness is tougher.

Mwuhahahaha
hahahahahahaha
hahaha- er... wait

Like I do better
Should not laugh at dumb antics
I keep my mouth shut

Lost in da woods? crap.
I really needed that map.
Me = dumbass

Much better than l33t
Largo burns entire forest
Bad way to save Fred

If this was true... hmmm.
Bad shit will happen, Oh no.
Glad it is not true...

Piro new technique
A gradient to sunset
Effective, sublime

(Okay, I just wanted to use sublime in a haiku. Sorry.)

I wish when scared
MY hands would go spherical
Super-deformed, yeah!

-

Phaedrus is your name
From the book "Zen and the Art.."?
..Must read it again

Strange how cigarettes
can produce stress when they're gone.
We choose odd crutches

Adventurers set
Out to find nature’s beauty.
The sun fades away.

As the night settles,
Piro and Serephim search.
Sound of soft dripping.

Park ranger comes with
light in hand to rescue our
favorite artist.

Ha ha ha ha ha!!!
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!
HA HA HA HA HA!!!

I just wanted to
say that little tiny joke
because I felt it.

I wish I could put
"Dead man's party" into a
haiku. That would rock.

falling down giggling
comes to more harm reading it
than characters do

This happens often:
Always closer than you think.
Funny because true.

Dusk. Hues shift and dim.
Chameleon Sera shifts
in each frame today.

Lizards change to match
their surroundings. Seraphim
shifts to match her thoughts.

Asako, Miho,
Erika, Kimiko - she
looks like each, in turn.

So many girls in
one body. Must get pretty
crowded inside there.

(with a tip of the Poetry Hat™ to melange and A Fool, who articulated what was catching my eye, but I hadn't quite figured out yet.)

K-chan, Foxtrot, you
honor us with your verse.
Arigato, y'all.

So, truth is funny.
Funny can be dangerous.
Syllogism sucks.

Shall I lie to be
safe? Right action is hard with
conflicting advice.

***

Kwirq: Yes, Zen and the
Art. Lila too. Pirsig, like
Piro, is way l33t.

fear of the dark or,
without moral support why,
fear the second most?

that which is not,
or that which could be,
together scare

one or the other,
seperately faced can,
be withstood

finally faced,
neither but the common fear,
of embarrassement

Summer sky darkens;
The park ranger calls, faintly...
Flashlight, blinding bright!

Basho: Ah heck, now this one's at it, too...

---

The sea darkens;
the voices of the wild ducks
are faintly white.

Lost on a journey,
Her thoughts turn to nicotine.
No more cigarettes!

Basho: Someone make it stop!

---

Ill on a journey;
my dreams wander
over a withered moor.

Sound of an artist,
Caught in a nocturnal scrape -
How dark it becomes!

Buson: Hey, Basho. Are we gonna do something about this, or what?

---

The sound
of a rat on a plate,-
how cold it is!

Summer waterfall
Sounds not unlike a down-spout.
Piro, don't be mean!

Buson: Aaargh!

---

The winter river;
down it come floating
flowers offered to Buddha.
