Piro dreams of life
Being like Shojo Manga.
Unreality.

Largo as bish'nen?
Never thought I'd see that!
Bish cannot be |33t.

Perhaps one day we
will see Kimiko admit
strong love for Piro

but not yet. For now
endless speculation comes,
from everyone, here.

Piro wishes life
Could be bound betwixt covers.
Issues, black and white.

Cheap printing means no
CMYK, but simple
answers have appeal.

His wish to live in
shoujo-manga-land I share,
who indeed would not?

Where else do dullard
guys (like us) and sparkly girls
(like them) share a page?

(I hope I'm lucky,
though, and in a fun manga
like Y.K.K., and

not one that's truly
weird like flcl or,
even worse, like Blame!)

For me, I think more
existential worlds would suit.
Key? Gasaraki?

Yet I will grant that
Naru, dressed for the hot springs,
is not all that bad.

Oh to have the life
of a shoujo-manga boy.
To be fought over.

To have girls scheming
to just get my attention
But, alas, I dream.

For now, I live the
life of a poet on an
online forum. *sigh*

Thanks to the artists
and their longing, we have such
worlds in which to dwell...

We live in larger
worlds because of them; the ones
we left seem smaller

now, and duller too;
I, for one, am not inclined
to look backwards now.

If we were shoujo-
manga-boys, we'd be better-
lookin', sure; but too

we'd have suspicious
pasts, and suffer secret wounds,
and worst of all, we'd

have to face these fears
before the fair heroine(s)
were finally won.

You know, the smilies
on this board are not shoujo
manga-compliant.

In sadness , my eyes
should make two flowing rivers
down my weeping face.

When anger takes me,
no menacing octothorpe
bulges on my head.

The giant sweat drop
that shows my embarassment
is also missing.

You know the worst part?
Kimiko art below , but
no nosebleed option.

Piro, calmer now,
sports a new fashion statement:
tailored straightjacket.

Bishounen Largo?
Truly, some things are not meant
To be seen at all.

Kimiko in that
Cute skirt, on the other hand
Is perfectly fine.

I doubt, however,
That Ping-chan would be able to
Handle much teasing.

I can see it now:
A thirteen year old Ping-chan,
Hunting Piro down.
