Cinderella cleans
out cobwebs from memory.
What prince will save her?

Posted by: affert Jun 18 2001, 06:53 AM
Kimiko fin'ly
may find the fanboy she seeks
What next? Love int'rest?

MegaTokyo
Chapter one Starts with such a
Dark and cloudy sky.

Posted by: Jack Jun 18 2001, 09:04 AM
Indeed, chapter one
Promises many wonders unknown
for Piro, Largo and Ping.

Posted by: dracos_nyl Jun 18 2001, 09:53 AM
What is the object
Kimiko holds in her hand?
Her 'Cool Thing?' Who knows?

Kimiko ponders
Puchiko-hatted gaijin...
He looks familiar!

She asks her roommate
Her answer, we will not hear
"Just some otaku."

Mysterious clouds
Obscure the sky, what portent!
We await Chapter One.

Coffee pot...rail pass...
mascot chasing his own tail.
NANI????? All the same?

(Those with history
of balance problems should not
be startled near heights).

Are two antennas
common in our fair city?
Are these girls so rich?

No. Truth is stranger!
At least I believe it so,
gentle readers all.

Spirit Portents guide
our girl characters onward
to higher pursuits

Antennas channel
the secret missives inward.
Erica obeys!

Kimiko obeys!
Capture the hearts, and the heads
of our brave heros.

Soon they sally forth
To bring our lads (and readers)
Amazing plot twists!

But first please make sure
you save the game to forestall
any loss of place!

I believed you 'til
you said "Erika obeys".
Not a chance, fanboy.

disobedience?
Just of humans. These commands
come from far far away.

Come here alien,
let me see that tenticle.
Break it for you? Hmm?

Posted by: doctortripp Jun 19 2001, 02:13 PM
Perhaps breaking the
alien's appendages
would be quite useless.

Depending on their
tastes, it could well be fairly
counter-productive.

If we believe what
we hear, their predilections
are most strange indeed.

Posted by: Phaedrus Jun 19 2001, 04:54 PM
Ooooooo, break it again!
But...could you wear the rabi~
en~rose suit this time?

Posted by: mimuspolyglotis Jun 19 2001, 08:16 PM
Erica cosplay
Naughty tentacles? For shame!
Fear violent response.

Piro, Largo, Lovely Ping
Wander the streets of Tokyo
Rain threatens to fall.

Kimiko ponders
Who was that guy sporting the
Dumb Puchiko hat?

Chapter one starting
All questions to be answered
If Fred and Rodney will

Miho, Darkly Cute,
Future romance for Largo?
Be very afraid...

Go for the beer, Boo!
What do drunk hamsters do when
Prompted by Largo?

Without puchiko
hat, very hard to tell: all
gaijin look alike.

But now, Kimiko
knows where to find him. So now,
I have to wonder:

Is Kimiko the
kind of girl who's attracted
to the underdog?

[;>.<;]Mensch! Am I behind
in my Haiku efforts. Two
strips later -- writing

Perl morning and night,
cross-platform installation
utilities for

communications
network fault monitoring,
and I can tell you

it'll chase the rhymes
away... I miss the meeting
of the many minds

this forum offers.
I will endeavor not to
embarrass myself.[;>.<;]

Gaijin look alike,
yet few offer rail passes
or coffee targets.

(Welcome back smurd-san!
I missed your well-crafted Perls
of l33tful wisdom)

I must sypmathise:
networking makes me want to
cry, and I seldom

deal with anything
than an 8-node ethernet
deathmatching setup.

But the blood, sweat and
tears are quickly rewarded
with swearing and gore.

Quake and anime,
a fanboy's sanctuary
from reality.

It seems that I am
a citizen now. Should this
make any difference?

l337 <||> 3vil, like
force of flood or tide, so the
rising waters surge;

Miho and Largo,
yin and yang, everything that
rises must converge;

b33r and beauty shall
in themselves be found, and their
diff'rences submerge.

Two realities,
both alike in dignity
in far Tokyo...

Like Romeo and
fair Juliet, our heros
have each a soul mate.

Sw33t Kimiko haunts
Piro's dreams with thoughts of love.
Her soft voice, soothing.

Miho, darkly cute,
does bite her thumb at Largo.
L33t-one, be on guard!

Piro's girl holds a
token that may cross the stars
of these four lovers.

Kimiko, ravers
or zombies, there ain't no such
thing as a free pass.

Place... mood... foreboding...
The bard would be proud of you.
Well spoken, Phaedrus!
