Dawn has come - run look!
What will the new chapter bring?
Oh no, shirt guy Dom!

OUCH! Really, Dom, your
mad trackball skilz are way l33t.
Now let go my spleen.

Spleen-based vengeance? Ouch!
Shirt-Guy Dom is truly fierce!
Ask-ye-not for Pr0n...

Lest thou shall be rent,
Torn appart, ripped assunder,
In his quest for nosh.

Kodama-Piro,
With a rattling, wobbly head?
Humorous, methinks!

Three dots for a face,
Lend a range of expression
Limited, at best.

Dom, as challenger
to the mighty Iron Chefs,
cooks a masterpiece

of madness: sauteed
spleen of young fanboy, soaked in
beer, lightly breaded.

Cartoon cannibals
at large! Anthropophagi
at Anime Central!

Such savagery
is not to my taste. I seek
the RedMeat forum.

Fanboy wants to see
Kimiko, n3kk3d, s3x1
Dom eats his spl33n. w00t!

Is it not cute? Dom,
Piro, Largo share bedroom.
Someone page Tanzy.

Spike and Vicious
Super-Def'd Nakoruru
Soothing my eyes so!

The RedMeat forum?
Mosquito-sore eyes? Far worse
than spleenectomy.

Dom moderates his
gore with cute SD manga,
while gently chiding.

Dom, will you raise pen
to join our haiku-slaughter?
Defend your honor!

Verily I jest,
I sought but to juxtapose
this fine cartoon

with ten-dollar words
like "anthropophagi" and
not to dis the strip.

This form is too tight
for really big words, such as
disestablishmen-

-tarianism;
clumsily I seek some larfs.
Please, do not hit me.

I must now confess
your "anthropophagi" post
made me LOL.

So obscure a word,
at least worth $9.95.
But what price Dom's wrath?

Posted by: smurd Jun 8 2001, 11:23 PM
It appears to me
undeserv'd obscurity.
Silence fills the space

around our efforts
to be clever farts. Are those
cricket sounds I hear?

Do the mods detest
our fine monuments to jest,
casting us away?

Do the mods all hurl
as our japeries unfurl,
cursing at our play?

Do their eyeballs roll
as they read these verses droll?
"Take them all away!"...

...do they say, as they
think, who are these roustabouts?
"Cast them out, before..."

(Sorry. Deathly fear
and love of spleen has made me
miss the point. Gomen.)

Magenta sez, "I
veary of dis verld," in
T.R.H.P.S.

Likewise "My brain hurts"
(to quote Gumby). I think a
rest in order is.

The rest of you, please
carry on. One thing alone
do I now miss:

B33R, life's nectar sweet
(Nick Yu, thank you!), a Friday
treat, a glass of bliss.

Just one thing to say:
You frighten me terribly.

...

Oh. And spleens taste good.

Posted by: smurd Jun 8 2001, 01:47 PM
Dom to our verses
gives surcease; and now I
part, to drink in peace.

A question for Dom:
How many syllables to
comprise dot dot dot?

Enquiring minds
want to know. (It must be true,
it was in the Star!)

You see? Dom ph34rs us!
Truly the pen is dai-er
than the katana.

Shirt- and shotgun-guy
Dom a fellow epicure!
Kidneys are nice too.

(applause)
My hat is off to
you, Sirs; I only wish I'd
thought of those howlers.

Our powers now shall
take their rest; come Monday shall
Haiku rise again!
