| Stone, dropped in the pond.
A smiling mother, it births
Its rival ripples.
Which ripples will you caress?
Which will you tear asunder?
[!haiku] Yes, I know there hasn't been a real haiku thread in damn near forever (other than the Ping Metarenga, but that's damn near a beast all its own). And yes, interest is at the single lowest point in the history of the forums. But damnit, no one's killing my hopes just yet! [/!haiku]

| No Sad girls in Snow
and no sad girls on my show
so make her happy
Nerves or sensing doom
Be yourself, say stupid things
We're on in twenty
/Temenus, who should not let “that Kaji wannabe” get to him...

I would not, could not let them air!
I would not, could not hold their hair!
I will not give them my regards!
I will not give them subway cards!
No blank voice mail! No mugs of beer!
No bloody shirts! No sketches here!
They will not tie my heart in knots!
I will not spill their coffee pots!
I do not like them in the snow!
I do not like them on my show!
I do not like these girls of gloom!
I do not like them, Matsu-kun!
[!haiku] Apologies to Dr. Seuss.
Damion, sometimes we need someone to remind us that these threads exist [/!haiku]

| [if this ain't haiku]
la la la la la
la la la la la la la
la la la la laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
[i don't know what is!]
bouncy and bubbly!
bright, breezy, brisk, and bustling!
(i'm a bit bilious...)
This Mumu is silly and sappy,
But Kimiko feels a bit crappy;
Will Shigeo, who's famed
For his fabulous games,
Be able to make her feel happy?
Now this man's games play happily;
Shigeo, make her just like me!

| For the record, Haiku must contain a nature refernce. It's part of what makes them Haiku.
Wind blown, snow laden
Sad girl, her love forsaken
Her voice speaks of pain.
Which, btw, is a reference to Mumu, not Kimiko.

| A bouncy hostess
Wants her guest to be cheerful.
She mainlines caffeine.

| First impressions count
But for comfort he's acting
A little too smooth
Is his behaviour offence?
Defence? Only time will tell
Fair Kimiko's lost some of her pomp
After witnessing Mumu-san's romp,
And she's starting to quail
'Neath the only female
Who gives even more violent a glomp!
[!haiku] EDIT: Lovely parody, NightStrife! And yes, we do need to be kicked in the... er... reminded to haiku, occasionally. [/!haiku]

| This Mumu-san needs
to take some valium now.
She's way too hyper.
She's not making it
better for Kimiko, eh?
Shigeo, calm her.
Mumu doesn't want
sad girls in snow on her show.
She wants happy girl.
Who in God's Green Earth
put Mumu on crystal meth?
Slow the record down!
You're going to explode if
you're not careful here!
That's it! It's time to
switch over to decaf now.
I forsee "postal".

| Damion-kun wants
the haiku threads to return;
Pity! So few posts.
is radio-show style genki,
and Kimiko is mellow
as this Shigeo fellow
is told to make her happy.
(from the preview-frame)
Piro's face, a blank screen.
Ping seems much more human than
this "tortured artist".
