a shoe drops,
a kitten rockets;
yuki's move.

[irish_haiku]

Officer:
I swear boss, this may sound absurd,
But a pigeon attack had occurred!
I've been tryin' my best
To fend off that pest,
So you see, I was flippin' da bird!

Sonoda:
Oh yeah? I was perfectly able
To see you - don't hand me that fable!
Or I may be inclined
To have you assigned
To cleaning the 'zilla-squad's stable!

Officer:
Hey Inspector, now don't have a fit,
'Cuz I really meant nothing by it!
Scoopin' up after 'zillas
Is a job that's a killa,
And would put me in really deep ... um ... kimchee?

Yuki:
And speaking of getting in deep
There's a choice that is making me *meep*,
'Twixt the devil (my dad)
And the deep sea (my lad),
And I don't know which way I should leap.

Snow maiden melting:
Fear of her father's hot wrath
And torrid emotions.

QUOTE (Shoka @ Sep 10 2004, 07:30 AM)

[5-5]

Captured en passant,
A pawn seeks safety.

Poor little schoolgirl
Terrified by her father
Though he does not know

And torrid emotions.

Fleeing seems only option.
Still it might be even worse.

Very attentive
The Inspector sees it all
Just not his daughter

When fear finds phantoms
Fleet feet fly from father's face
For better or worse

[Irish haiku]
By now this venture quite proves
Skipping school's not the wisest of moves
For little Sonoda
Did not expect father
To admire the Hayasaka grove!

QUOTE (DCR)
When fear finds phantoms
Fleet feet fly from father's face
For better or worse

Form deforms, a complex choice
Quickly: which Hell is hotter?

QUOTE (AncestralHamster)
Captured en passant,
A pawn seeks safety.

[3-5-3]
One option:
Press onward and then
Cross fingers
[/3-5-3]

Come and be amazed
By my magical keystrokes
Errors are assured

[/haiku]Thanks, Lukkai. Geez, my second haiku thread in a row with major misspellings. Some copy & paste to MS word should insure no more embarrassing circumcisions! cool.gif [haiku]

Form deforms, a complex choice
Quickly: which Hell is hotter?

Her father calls out
A choice is now quickly made
But what expects her?

[/haiku]Pst! Nebulious! It's Hayasaka, not Hayakasa![haiku]

A leader escapes
From the consequences dire
Stealth like lonely wolf

QUOTE (Morksittar)
A leader escapes
From the consequences dire
Stealth like lonely wolf

Until errant birds spotted
Merit the traveler's ire.

[irish haiku]
Tohya's stealing the Sensei's own show,
And it's dealing him quite a strong blow.
So he screams in her face,
Claims it's all a disgrace,
And the Darkly Cute's smile merely grows.

[!haiku] Do I ever write actual haiku in these anymore?
Oh, and wonderful limericks, Shoka happy.gif [/!haiku]

[/haiku] Well, on that:[haiku]

[irish haiku]
This one forumite Shoka-kun
Is writing haikus on the run.
He does shine like a light,
Throwing verses with might.
And reading them always is fun.

[irish haiku]
Our Yuki can't quite understand,
How she got to the 'Gamers unplanned,
So she's sitting there, torn,
Till some parental scorn,
To a co-worker gives her a hand!
