| Fighting the battles
When you don't have to do it
Is just plain stupid
You did hurt me then.
And now that I have told you
At least feel some guilt!
Not that you would ever know
What's really inside of me.

| The superficial
Victories are comforting
Pretending to win
Darkly girl, what is this game that you play?
What fuels your facade day after day?
You act so distant, barely a care
With comment of wit and a flick of your hair
Your cocky smile devoid of surprise
Cannot ever mask the pain in your eyes
Your sermons, though rare, reveal true intensions
The wounds and betrayal of untold dimensions
Darkly girl, is this not http://www.megatokyo.com/index.php?strip_id=201 too?
That hiding from truth can somehow protect you?
[/haiku]My thanks to Tiramisu. [haiku]

|another day, another haiku ^^;;
i won't claim to know much about them at all, but i like this one for what its worth (-my comment, not the haiku)

But small victories can mean
Pretending not to be hurt.
[!haiku] And now for something completely different [/!haiku]
[I have no idea]
Poor little http://www.megatokyo.com/index.php?strip_id=245
She lost her patron
And she began to cry:
Oh, Largo, please
With scenes as these
My patron I have lost!
What of your patron?
You evil matron!
Now you shall have no pie!
Hidoi, hidoi, hidoi, hidoi!
You shall have no pie!
The poor little matron
She found her patron,
And she began to cry:
Oh, Largo, sir,
It's her! It's her!
My patron I have found!
This evil patron?
You stupid matron!
Just go and eat your pie!
Oh, wai! Oh, wai! Oh, wai! Oh, wai!
Go and eat your pie!
[/I have no idea]
[!haiku] Yeah, that popped into my head (and took forever to find something at least usable in place of kitten\mitten). I'll make something less random later. [/!haiku]

| Angry bull charges
Its subtle, evasive foe.
An example made.
Snow in the sunlight:
Fighting too many battles
Causes strength to melt.

| Watching a battle
Is much more convienent
Than being in it.

| [!haiku] Bah, I know there's a new comic up already; I spent some time on this and I'm going to post it! [/!haiku]
Regardless of how well we fight our foes,
True victory is never what's returned.
There is no reason I should note your shows,
For all I need to know I've sooner learned.
The petty battles are the ones most fought,
For comfort lies in ease of shallow wins.
But all those efforts mask the triumphs sought;
The pain of contests that would do us in.
It's pointless for a person to push on,
When everything that's done results in pain.
Instead it's better to become withdrawn,
And cut your losses ere they make their stain.
The safest route is not to play the games,
And watch the others all go down in flames.

(Actually, you posted that while I was coming in here to compliment your previous ditty. ^__^ Good stuff!)
