I never thought I'd start one of these, but hey, I have now.

Results of Earthquake,
See if everyone is fine.
Door opens to fans.

erika's
maternal instincts?
no one sees.
[/3-5-3]

she wants to see if
anybody (else) was hurt.
caring despite fear.

they want erika!
the explosion won't faze them
from wherefore* they came.

the falling schrapnel
couldn't do more brain damage
than already there. sleep.gif

I show only love
yet I find that my caring
is wasted on them.

Can anyone tell I'm real
and not some made up doll girl?

<sigh>
She's going outside,
Without thinking about it.
Erika baka!

You should have known that the fans
Would instantly jump on you!

[freestyle haiku]
The quake is gone and she goes outside,
She's just wanting to check on the people.
But what she totally tossed aside,
These are beasts and they're without a keeper

Why don't you people
Take any thought for yourselves?
An entire building
Was destroyed before your eyes!!
Is this a show to you, too??

[irish haiku]
In order to see how they're doing
(The ones she's norm'lly eschewing),
Hayasaka goes out,
Face-to-face with the louts,
A decision she's probably rueing!

Her instincts
prompt unwise action.
Self-betrayed.

Her compassionate nature:
Her greatest strength ... and weakness.

Compassionate heart
by action revealed.

As for "no one sees", we the readers do, but I sometimes wonder how much of Erika's maternal actions on their behalf Kimiko and Piro notice. Kimiko seems to have some awareness of them, but Piro may be taking it for granted. "Girls are nice that way."

The help fanboys need
Better blunt object-given
Than by Erika

Blunt objects won't work.
As we see in the strip here
They'd just get them signed.

She's kinder than me
I wouldn't be having fans, though
I'd be killing them

Carving my name in their backs
"Scars can make great souvenirs!"

Ouch I say!
That has got to hurt!
Ouch indeed!
[/3-5-3]

Well what do you know?
Maybe you'd have lots of fans,
If you really tried.

[5-5]
On the other hand
Maybe you would not.

Gathering outside
Uninvited invites me
To show displeasure

(Yes, she is kinder than I
And much better looking, too)

I agree with you.
Me too I want to adjust
Some fanboys faces.
