| [Irish haiku]
A rodent has never been so sad
To learn dear Sera is really that bad.
Bat boy gives him a smirk,
(He can be a real jerk!)
Cheer up, 'bad girl' may just be a fad!
Both the Ying and Yang of mind
Pandora's Box breached

| There is a problem with your "Irish haiku". It is lacking one thing that makes a limerick funny. Crude humour. Remember,
|Posted by: DCR Apr 29 2004, 11:58 AM|
But actions lacking
Where's your rhyme
The uninformed it defeats
Old news Boo now meets
|Posted by: Godefridus Apr 29 2004, 12:07 PM|
Asmodeus plans for a date,
And Boo just now learned that he's late.
Poor Sera's gone evil,
and Largo's upheaval,
Means the next strip better not wait!

Now please hold back your criticism.
There is by no means limmerick schism.
In this certain fourm,
There's no concrete form.
It tends to demote individualism.
If you want to hear valgur shouts,
There's no better place to go but out
in http://forums.megatokyo.com/index.php?showforum=1 its less placid.
In fact, nothings sacred.
And there's always a n00b bashing bout!
Now back on topic.
Evil, fanservacy gal
Caught us all off guard.

"Hey, Seraphim's running away!
What's going on?" her fans say,
I could have fun,
With an ecchi-type pun,
But that would be rather risque.
[!haiku]I think you've misinterpreted this limerick. The author seems to be saying that good limericks will produce hearty belly-laughs ("laughs anatomical", ie not just with the voice), but lamenting that too many good limericks are also lewd. So there [/!haiku]

When the good angel fails us
Now the bad must take up slack.
|Posted by: adamjaskie Apr 29 2004, 10:18 PM|
I do not think I
Misinterpreted at all,
As I was looking
At the second half
Of the limerick you see,
His was quite un-lewd.
|Posted by: snark Apr 29 2004, 10:23 PM|
But can they trust him?
Seeing as he's far more prone
To be slacking off.
|Posted by: DCR Apr 29 2004, 11:37 PM|
Those who trust Asmodeus
Will build castles in the air
It is good to see
However different they be
The consciences three

Seraphim's black leather jacket,
Reminds me of Jessica Rabbit:
"I am not really bad,
"I'm just drawn that way, lad!"
Here's hoping this look becomes habit!;)

If I pause a moment and stew,
(I mean "cogitate" it is true),
I think I may state,
That, as of late,
We have missed our irish haiku.

|Bad little angel...
The short-hair look suits her, too
This oughtta be good
(Funny, though, thinks Boo...
She sure seems to hate this guy.
He may be smug, but
Even in her wilder days
She thought he was a loser.)
