I feel tears run down
Are they mine? Or Kotone's?
I can't remember

My eyes are wet
Why do I feel this way?
It's only a game

I actually wrote this for the last Haiku topic but since it seemed applicable here, and such I liked it so much here it is again:

While only a game
To some it has such meaning
Wounds that have no name.

Games, they mean so much
Most could never understand
Something they can't touch.

The characters pain
We feel it inside ourselves
Life's never the same.

------------------------------

Her cries fill the air
Beautiful innocence alive
Deep within the soul

The depths of her heart
Cries out to the characters
Their pain is her own.

tears run down her face
not real, just imitations
crying for her game

a sad scene in Sight
she's crying for Kotone
why must Burn die now?

For Kotone? Senseless death
Means tears are for no reason

[Shakespearian haiku]
As broken soul kneels down, engulfed in pain,
While bitter, bloodless drops wash eyes and mind,
Clear rivulets pour requiem refrain,
And not-so-distant heart responds in kind.
Across the fourth wall's neutral barrier.
The heart behind the heart takes sympathy.
And though 'tis but a game of "marry her,"
She still can't help but suffer empathy.
"I'm sorry, this just resonates within;
There's part of me there (or, at least, I try).
Although it's just a brush of writer's pen,
Inside my heart, it's real enough to cry..."
But tears now dry from dirge to softer song.
"I'm fine now, guys, so let's continue on."
[/Shakespearian haiku]

Tears, like life-giving rain, fall.
Kotone's life now blossoms.

[3-5-3]
Breath of life.
My voice is now yours.
Two hearts, one.
[/3-5-3]

Now living the part.
Emotions running over.
"My heart must go on."

[/haiku]First, I must http://forums.megatokyo.com/index.php?showtopic=1669891&st=0&#entry3038608 Go me for calling that one!

[Shakespearian Haiku]

Amazing, beyond my expectations...
She reads with passion, such fathomless heart.
For all the cost, its worth the sensation.
She can steal your soul and take it apart...

I knew it! I knew it! She's the best choice!
I glimpsed her pain, she's one with Kotone.
Singing violin, vibrato in voice.
Stick to it hon, it will soon be your day!

I've read my lines, did the best that I could.
Then I broke down, right in front of them all.
Need to be in control, I know I should...
Hope I've done well, this just can't be my fall.

Should I have done it, encourage her gift?
Fame's traumas, burden that which was once swift.

[/Shakespearian haiku] If you haven't noticed, each color represents the thoughts of a different character. I'm exactly sure which color best fits who, though...[haiku]

Tears, like life-giving rain, fall.
Kotone's life now blossoms.

I give of myself
That you may grow, feel for you
That you may be real.

That you may grow, feel for you
That you may be real.

Growing vines intertwining:
Reality, fantasy.

Ah... this is unlike me. I haven't Haiku-ed yet.

A Senseless Sadness
Feeling of pain, see the moon
Her scene is her life.

[!haiku] Both Damion Requiem and Garran made me gasp, slowly. [/!haiku]

A silent moment
As they finish recording
Quietly, she cries

In other places,
Such tenderness has always
Made her doubt herself

But here, the strange look
In their eyes isn't pity...
It's admiration

She is Kotone
In those moments, those words, she
Leads another life

Then...in that silence
As they finish recording
When no one's looking

Shyly sorrowful
Tears running into her smile
She is Kimiko

Identity Blurred
kimiko or kotone
tears run down her cheek

tears carress my cheek
this emotion, is it mine?
simulated pain?

Life and soul emere
new blossom now unfolding
reaching toward the sun

QUOTE (Nebulious @ Apr 1 2004, 03:35 AM)
Life and soul emerge
new blossom now unfolding
reaching toward the sun

through veiling smoke the sun is
found, a blossom turns its head.

[irish_haiku]
Though she’s tearing-up, Kimiko chooses
To keep working; a break she refuses;
But her crying just might
Cause a short in her mike,
And blow out those valuable fuses!
