Megatokyo Forums > Story Discussions > Haiku [530] Bringing Breakfast

Posted by: Shoka Mar 5 2004, 02:42 AM
erika's breakfast
seems redundant, the kids have
toasted oaty-o's.

[irish_haiku]
"Is it Tohya? It's not? Well just great!
"This is your fault - you kept me up late!
"Hayasaka, hello!
"Bai-bai, gotta go!
"After school I will come back here straight!"

Hayasaka waits calmly on station,
Despite all these strange altercations,
But beneath her reserve
She's a little disturbed
By this cyber-girl cohabitation.

soft morning chaos
a brief seifuku moment
addressing the strange

A cry: "Fanservice!"
From the back of the movie
Another: "Be Quiet!"

To live and let live
is modern, but some might look
askance at this one...

I know she isn't
a real girl but isn't this all
a lil' disturbing?

cluster malfunction
causes a thunderstorm while
calm waits with coffee

(hmm... accidental alliteration?)

Apartment chaos
Android girl rushes to school
Fresh doughnut breakfast

A missing idol
Pays an early morning call
With breakfast in hand

Two sides of the door
One chaotic, one serene
Both a bit disturbed.

(Coming up with haiku on the spot is always fun. smile.gif)

(Tanka tanka!)

"Largo, you have to
Put on some pants!" Erika
Thinks of the young girl
(Apparent) in there with them
As she sips at her coffee.

Alternately:

"You didn't let me
Get to sleep 'til way too late!"
Our heroine is
Stone-faced, but on the inside
She is raising an eyebrow.

(But for all of this
Piro blinks in innocence:
"Hm? Disturbed by what?")

I sympathize with
Piro's plight; Shoujo manga
is a harsh mistress

[!haiku--Amusingly enough, I wrote this haiku about twelve days shy of a year ago, never posted, and just rediscovered it the other day. And it still fits. The poor, poor man. ^___^ --]

Irish Haiku?

Every time I see
These people, I ponder how
Serene my life is.

Don't panic, Chaostic 2k
It's just our mad forumite way
Of doing a trick
Called a "lim-er-ick"
In these haiku threads - okay?

Posted by: seyosama Mar 5 2004, 06:47 PM
My good friend Snark underrates
The hunger that lim'ricks satiate
The double couplet
Would feel so bereft
Without the line at the end.

Doughnuts are better served hot,
Ping - Her schooling - Has forgot,
As Erika stares,
Largo's chest now, he bares,
She'd disterbed by these men and robot.

(first one, be gentle)
