largo: he's just a
poor little lamb who has lost
his way, baa baa kaa!

[irish_haiku]
Is Largo confused and alone?
Just a 'broken bird' all on his own?
If you can put stock
In this 'cultural shlock',
I've got swamp land I'd like to unload.

invade thread of haiku
a sad day indeed

oh forums poets
lay down your five-seven-fives
and get two-by-fours!

...well, at least we should
correct their use of meter.
or just ignore them.

"he cries out?",
she thinks. "if not I,
who can help?"

"The whole world is cursed",
said the emperor's sly monk.
And now haiku is.

*sigh*

Largo's culture shock?
It's not just Japan...to him,
Life's a shock itself.

Her empathizing,
With her somewhat wistful gaze
Might suggest something...

Could Largo's l33t soul,
Have finally found it's mate
In Hayasaka?

A foreshadowing
Of emotions that may show.
A true heart to heart.

[edit] I think I may be getting the hang of this... [/edit]

A cultured shocked boy.
His madness touches my heart.
My compassion wakes.

Lost puppies*
Find a kindly heart.
Erika's.

[!haiku] Largo as a http://whitewolf.newcastle.edu.au/words/authors/K/KiplingRudyard/verse/volumeXI/gentlemenrankers.html, Shoka-san? An amusing thought, if unlikely. And thanks for the Kipling reference.

Heed not the gadflies
for they thrive on attention.
Find solace in verse.

Compassion, of course,
One of Erika's virtues,
Well known to fanboys

[Irish]
Perhaps presumption has lead,
Me to correct a department head,
But I'd be in remission,
If I ignored this addition*,
To what the Hamster has said.

"Everyone captured
the haiku-making fever
And it caught me too."

What in the world---did I just wrote that? This is all your fault!

The colors are all around
us. It masks who we are for
fear others will find out.
