I don't have a [409] drabble ready--will work on that soon.

maintd: Hair needs washing.

Goal: Wash hair.
Solution: Take bath.
Directive: Enter bathroom.
Succeeded.

Directive: Locate bath.
Failed: No bath exists.
Failed: No bath exists.

Solution: Take shower.
Directive: Enter bathroom.
Directive already satisfied.

Directive: Locate shower.
Failed: No shower exists.
Failed: No shower exists.

Solution: Use public bath.
Directive: Download file ‘public-bath-mode’.

Goal: Connect to Internet.
Solution: Ask user to connect self.
Directive: Locate user.
Succeeded.

Directive: Ask for connection.
Succeeded.

Directive: Contact server.
INTERRUPT
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
recd: Recovering... done.
RESUME
Failed: DNS error.

Directive: Ask user for help in error resolution.
Executing directive.

Lol, that's pretty good. Largo's nuclear firewall must be pretty good if it can cause a seg fault.

Little explaintion for non-Unix people: deamons are programs on Unix systems that do all sorts of things that need to be done in the background. Their names usually end w/ 'd' standing for deamon, so maintd would be maintance deamon and recd recovery deamon.

Basically, like the old TSR (Terminate and Stay Resident, nto the game company) programs.
