Wow, this was hard.

I struggled for a while with how to drabble a DPD. I tried to find a plot, and failed miserably, so finally I wrote this about my thoughts.

This is actually what's called a half-drabble--50 words. Double drabbles are also possible, by the way. I'm not terribly happy with it, but perhaps someone else can come up with something better.

What’s happening? I can’t read their expressions.

Are they sad? Did they miss a date, lose a friend? Did they realize they’re alone?

Are they thinking? Are they puzzled by a problem? Is something wrong with the bike? With their lives?

I wish I knew. I wish I could help.

Yes, I can see how this one would be hard to work with. Perhaps you'd fare better using a DPD from the "In Search of Lost Wings" series. They tend to be more evocative, which should give you more material to work with.

yeah. This DPD is almost like a 'snapshot' - it doesn't really tell us that much about the scene.

Thinking back, some of those Winged girl speculation posts were insanely oversubscribed. Remember when mzacher's Erika got posted? o_O

Well you're doing better than me. Your 50 words is beating my, well beating of head against a desk. If inspiration strikes I'll write, but I think you've got me again this time.

Makoto-rin POV:

Ping-chan ... Why are you ignoring me? Did I do something wrong?

I thought we were friends. We're the only ones who can understand each other. The only ones who know what it's like being a humanlike toy in a world of humans. If we can't talk to each other, there's no one else we can talk to.

Why are you treating me like this? It hurts. Maybe my emotional algorithms aren't as sophisticated as yours, but when you ignore me like this, they still cause me pain.

Ping! Please don't ignore me! Don't ride away!

Ping-chan, please ... Awuuu ...
