| Ninjas hide behind
Their masks; Miho ducks behind
her hair to block thoughts.
On panel two:
Largo stands solemn,
Thoughtful; a good commander
Runs to help Yuki.
He looks so handsome like that,
When he isn't grimacing.
On the last panel:
Has anyone else
Noticed how chauvinistic
Miho's last line is?

Miho always speaks half in sub-text,
With a snark or a sneer or a jest;
But you know, there are times
This thought slips through my mind:
Don't that girl ever give it a rest?^^;

| Have you ever been chased by a cat? *
Or just watched one tormenting a rat?
Like a cat with it's toys
she's now teasing "her" boys
and it seems Largo doesn't like that!
What will Piro now say to Miho?
Is he hushed? Or has he been brought low
by the labyrinthine turns
of his life as he learns
that it's now almost wholly shoujo?
*umm, no - but I have had a lion leap at me.

| Mouth unseen she waits.
Face turned away, in silence.
'Bad' for whom, we ask?
It's enought to start.
No more is needed, now hush.
You have your journey.
And I have mine. Meeting here
Briefly, in the Real.
A gift of kindness
Erases all doubts, all dues.
The game is reset.
No sign of Teddy.
It's best. In that thread he'd be
A teddy lynched bear.
Once I met a girl
Wise and deep, our souls flew high.
Then alone, I fell.
Old memories hurt.
Who'd expect such whispers from
a fucking comic?

| Whoever said that
Sticks and stones hurt more than words
was a stone blind fool
But no-one tells you
that memories can hurt you
more than all of those.
Ambushed by the past
And left bleeding by the road -
do you need a hand?
I suppose Miho
may be feeling some of that
but she sure heals quick!

| These are all wonderful... they really put mine to shame
And Sax, what on earth do you waste your time with limericks for when you can write such nice haikus?
|Posted by: mistersaxon Apr 9 2008, 05:39 AM|
| Limericks are fun!
Haiku are so serious
I'm gonna do both . . .
[p.s. @aeolidkitty: Thanks - you are too kind]

A glaring typo!
Standing there so long, unseen.
Bloody hell, that sucks.
No magical girl
Need suffer such ignomy.
Their errors vanish.
Those inside missed out.
Not even a POP.
